Odds of reinstatement if account went to collections ?

Suspended 2+ years ago for non payment of $262.00 reimbursement fee paid to one buyer. (he returned my items after destroying them). No other problems prior to this incident. Ebay still saying "pay and we'll reinstate" …… Others on these forums have said once it's been in collection (I'm sure it was) there's no way they will reinstate ….. anyone think differently ?

You need a new account at this point.

Even if you paid....ebay isn't going to give you a 100% chance of reinstatement...it's up to you to decide.

Tricky this.

Associate had a similar scenario. Repaid ebay at their suggestion.

Account was being used without apparent issues.

Then out of nowhere, killed again. Despite chats with ebay, nothing was explained except a hint of this suspension being the reason....

Go figure...

I've had a few that owed small amounts of money over an extended time, and when I paid they became active again, and I'm still using them a few years later.

But in general I think I agree that you're better to start from scratch.
