How far do you need to change your ebay name?

Hi,

I just wondered how different your new ebay username needs to be from your old (limited one). Is it a question of changing one word around, slightly mispelling, or a complete different name?

It's just I have a brand and the closest name to it as possible the better. How far do ebay track this?

You really do need to study stealth my friend - you cannot give them the slightest inclination - they will snap your head off.

I can only speak for myself but I never have account names that are anything, and I do mean anything, like the ones that I lost - but it's up to you - you might be lucky

I agree.. could be TOO convenient if they do look into you, similar name, similar selling characteristics and items etc. Lets say you had 1 account with 4000 feedback but were limited, all has gone to **** right? Well if you had 4 accounts each with 1000 feedback, thats 4 reputable seller accounts and each should have their own unique characteristics to them - thats the key as said above, avoid the slightest indications.

Name username should be used for sure.
