LaPachanga as far as same info goes, how far does this apply. What address did you use, same as on previous banned accounts or new one? Thanks for your time.

Use any address that can verify your identity. Have you lived anywhere else before?

thank you for answering... So as long as you lived there even if it's very long ago it'll work?

I’ve used addresses of friends/family. Never lived there. No issues.

For opening the shop or shipping address? Did you use your own last 4? When I used other addresses etsy always asked for ID .

For both. The address I’m currently using is brand new. I just moved and haven’t changed my mailing address or ID. It still worked. Yes I used my own last 4.

As far as I know addresses aren’t banned so I don’t think it matters either way.

What about the bank account? Do I need a new one?

How in the world did this not get flagged?

Yes. I’m still up and running. Best tip is to pay for quality stealth. Get a real cellular plan for a tablet or phone.

Re: Has anyone in the US created a successful Etsy account lately?

I did a new account and have been up and running for about 2 months now.
One thing to note is that we moved to a different state about a year after my suspension so the address was easy.
I bought a laptop for Etsy only so I automatically had a new IP.
Opened a new bank account in my real name.
Have a new phone number because of the move.
Selling different items than before. Using a different camera to take photos.
Just changed last name a little bit to make it different on etsy only.
Don't need a new Paypal account because I am on DC. I use gift cards to pay fees. So far so good.=}-

I thought when you have a DC account, that etsy automatically deducts the fees when they deposit your amount?

agent006140 02-22-2020 12:41 PM

Re: Has anyone in the US created a successful Etsy account lately?

yes,Etsy will deduct its commission and the processing fee from your sales proceeds when an order is received,it used to bill you its FVF each month but not anymore,I think too many shops will just skip town without paying its monthly fee.
But what about 20 cents listing fee,I dont see it billing me each time I list,so when does it bill us?
