Thumbs up Required reading for those who trade/invest: Reminiscences of a Stock Operator

If you haven't, please read this almost 100 year old book.

Reminiscences of a Stock Operator
by Edwin Lefèvre

Out of the bazillions of books on trading,
this is still considered the Bible of trading by many,
if not most successful traders.

AND it's a GREAT read.

It was mandatory reading for all our traders before we hired them.
You might be surprised to find what he had to say about some of your beliefs.

I am being HONEST here when I say I am trying to help.
If you trade/invest, read the book (it's very short).

Just one quote...

"It never was my thinking that made the big money for me. It always was my sitting. Got that? My sitting tight! It is no trick at all to be right on the market. You always find lots of early bulls in bull markets and early bears in bear markets. I've known many men who were right at exactly the right time, and began buying or selling stocks when prices were at the very level which should show the greatest profit. And their experience invariably matched mine--that is, they made no real money out of it. Men who can both be right and sit tight are uncommon."

PS: I have referred back to this book (and read it) at least 30 or more times.
I read it at least once every year still.
It's one of those books that each time you read it, you get something new out of it.
