That's really good to see. I'm done speculating at this point - the rabbit hole is endless. Once it's known where the virus truly came from the story will be easier to piece together. Nature vs bio lab.

I do think Xi was sending a message to Trump and/or the world by building the hospital so quickly. "Look, I saw them build a hospital in very short time." He was impressed, he's into building things. Kinda coincidental.

Putting the economy on lockdown. Intentionally under-reporting or lack of ability/need to report accurate death count. Then sending aid. Makes Communism look superior to Democracy, which those flaws are showing now. Add it to the current politics between China/US it doesn't help much. And all the stuff that will be going down in 20 some odd years.

Previous reports said that although doctors in the city collected samples from suspected cases in late December, they could not confirm their findings because they were bogged down by bureaucracy, such as having to get approval from the Chinese Centre for Disease Control and Prevention, which could take days. They were also ordered not to disclose any information about the new disease to the public.

Sooooo.... could have originated anywhere based on the new evidence. China may be getting wrongfully blamed as the origin (2002-2003 SARS origin being China). Dunno yet.

Anything is possible lol. but I highly doubt it. China has been hard at work creating propaganda for this for the past 4 months. If you're going to post anything from anyone, maybe best not to post from a Chinese source.

I did,2 shipments,tracking shows they are in Frankfurt now,they have cleared customs.

On march 26 central time,my mail man picked up 2 USPS priority packages from me,they went to CHicago Intl distribution center and then flew to GERMANY,must have cleared customs yesterday,the last I heard it was leaving Frankfurt to Norderstedt.
Carrier is gold old post office,so in GERMANY it is good old Deutshe Post

SARS and Covid19 are pretty close on this chart. The extreme number of cases and the contagiousness doesn't add up. That says it's been around longer than previously thought.

I know. But hopefully every state won't overrun their hospital capacity. And can get the needed supplies in for when we do go back out into public, they are better set up to handle this mess.

It's one of the reasons so many are dying in certain places.

The trend we were on, about a week ago, had us at 1.6 million cases by April 4th. By the looks of things, now, we won't be anywhere near that. Thank goodness.

12 days out from that date, we would have been at 50,000,000 ish. Just to show you what NOT DOING ANYTHING would have accomplished. People couldn't have even been cared for in the hospitals.

After this, like you say, the best thing to do will be protect the elderly and the immunocompromised and everyone get back to work. With some safety precautions thrown into the mix.

So funny, because the 4 days of declining growth before yesterday... people were chalking that up to "they stopped testing". And now the increase in numbers is BECAUSE they're testing.

I guess if the number is lower today, they must have stopped testing again :lol:

Well....... City's are ONLY testing critical patients and not very many really. Now we have WY(about 2300 total), SD(about 2000 total), MT that are testing A LOT more but are broad testing, not just know cases.

To me, these numbers are as meaningful as China's because there is not a standard of how testing is handled.

One thing that seems to have happened, states that are critical and got that FEMA money......They made it incredibly hard to get tested.

Yeah, it's hard to track what's really going on. We've tested a little over 1,000,000 people, but it still seems to not be as prevalent as needed.

Our county population is about 900,000. We've tested about 3,000. I don't know anyone that's been tested. We're told we have to go to our doctor if we suspect we are sick. Doctor has to recommend the test.

This is saying authorities were manipulating the numbers. They were distributing test kits outside of Wuhan during the peak and gave all the hospitals there 2000 total.

Leaked documents from Mar 14th say there were 91k cases when official number was 4000. IDK if documents are real w/o looking.

Packages that shipped Friday are in Alaska now and will arrive tomorrow. I had a two day delay with UPS.

You must be using DHL through HK. Really bad business practices will keep them on their knees for weeks or possibly months to come.

Mine too. It's strange, really. I guess it might have something to do with domestic air travel being restricted?

Priority and 1st Class shipments are traveling from West to East coast in 2 days consistently for the last 2 weeks, but on the international side, DHL is saying there aren't enough planes to go around.

Could be related to China lying about their statistics. :noidea:

DHL has 5-10 day delays coming out of HK. Lot of cancelled flights. That was yesterdays update... who knows what it is today lol
