this is correct , the actual process of electing the president will start shortly. and the issue there is that there were massive violations of laws during the election and they have been going on ever since. for example the law is clear regarding litigations and certification: the states must clear out all litigations before being able to certify and this must happen by the 8th of December otherwise the congress will have to step in. so what we see here is that certifications are taking place despite running litigations , all this is gonna become a problem at scotus and/or congress later as the constitutional procedure has been violated

Theres litigation and then theres just an attempt to clog up the system with false claims and nonsense lawsuits (which is what we're seeing here). According to you it is possible to just keep suing day after day to make sure the elections are NEVER certified. Think THAT is a good solution? Give me a break.

which claims are false or true will have to be decided by the congress. this election will entirely depend on the loyalty or disloyalty of the GOP because the GOP has the senate majority , it will need to confirm Biden as president and acknowledge his victory or it will need to declare electoral votes of several states invalid and send the election to the house. we will see in january how that is gonna go. spoiler alert: no matter what GOP decides there will be a lot of trouble

So what youre saying is that theres a loophole for anyone losing an election in the form of filing endless lawsuits in order to essentially have a chance at stealing the elections via the senate. So what that technically means is that democracy doesn't mean a thing in the US anymore and theres no point in having any sort of election - ever - cause realy what's the point right? Instead of election it will be the senate that decides who the president is - about 50-55 individuals will be the factor that decides the presidency.

what you call a "loophole" is otherwise known as constitution. it is not 50 people but specifically the senate that decides whether to confirm the president and in case it does not confirm the president it can not decide who will be the president. all this means that the entire congress would get involved. in any case the senate must confirm Biden as president specifically , there is no such thing in the US that electoral college votes automatically determine the president. that is why the loyalty of the GOP is about to get tested , they can go with the dems and lose large part of their electoral base or they can go with Trump and the country will be burning. My best guess is that Trump is currently purging the Pentagon of disloyal people for this same reason as he is preparing for major unrest in January when the military will need to be deployed within the country , it is no secret by the way that Esper had bad blood with Trump due to his refusal to deploy the military when the BLM unrest kicked off

So far, 48 court cases have been thrown out because the accusations/allegations actually AREN'T violations of that particular state's law. Trump seems to have used the worlds dumbest lawyers to side with him. either that, or his lawyers are out to spite him.

don't watch too much CNN , court cases at lower courts are only needed as a formality to transfer the jurisdiction away from the states. Trump can certainly lose but this will happen after the senate confirms Biden as president. For now Biden is not even President-elect and there is no point to celebrate his victory as there has not been a victory yet

What does watching CNN have to do with this? I watch as many news venues as I can to get as many angles as I can including Fox news (although these day apparently theyre not extreme enough).
And given everything Im reading forgive me if I start the celebrations early friend but as far as Im concerned this is a done deal.
Come January 20th if Im wrong I will fully own up and eat my words but right now Im pretty sure ill be up $500 on that day and will be partying with a big platter of McChicken sandwiches at your expense.
