Of course the mets go to Minnesota this year so no doubt pelfry will prolly no hit them. Waste of a gem outing by Gee today - typical muts. |

To get out of the way of a ball and allow it to pick off your wife shows how stupid the guy is.
I have seen many catch fly balls like this without a glove.
I have personally witness a ball rip the lips off a small child in the stands as the threads tore the poor kids mouth wide open and the Dad of course sitting beside him hit the deck instead of covering over the kid.
___ | Guy wasnt ready - in life in general ha.
Anyhow, few games remaining in hockey and final four for NCAA before re-focusing on baseball.
Still early... |
| Sandy D | 04-06-2013 10:11 AM | He was ready, he moved out of the way and let the ball nail his wife. |
Not ready to handle protecting his wife in real life I meant :) but anyhow...
Jays not starting well |
| slim jim | 04-08-2013 12:19 PM | Jays stole our dickey! Lol. |
You like that knuckleball eh? |
| slim jim | 04-08-2013 03:39 PM | He was nasty last year and just seemed like a good guy which makes for a perfect scenario for the Mets to give a player up. Reyes won the batting title and they let him go. They are too busy finding a replacement for Madoff |

Jays not starting well | I know ---- cant protect her from a baseball what is next?
Oh look honey there is a ball coming right at you.
I did the ESPN basketball tourney this year.
Ranked 7000 out of 6 million with picking 3 of the final 4 teams and Louisville and Michigan in the finals with Michigan winning it.
Might even take in a couple of Rays games this year and that is one boring place to attend a game. |

| Sandy D | 04-09-2013 01:22 AM | If the Yankees are struggling I am one happy fan.....
Sorry Yankee fans.
Angels seem to be very potent as do the Reds with offense.
Like Gb, way too early but you can see some great hitting going on very early.
Either pitchers are not ready or hitters are just better right out of the gate this year. |

All about codes and coin. |
| Sandy D | 04-10-2013 02:03 PM | Going to break down and go to a Rays game.
If anyone has ever been to a Rays game it is like watching a baseball game being played on a basketball court.
Boring as heck.
One of the worst stadiums in the big leagues to watch a game and I have been to almost all of them. |
If it's boring, why not find another stadium game that will be exciting, fun, etc.? |
| Sandy D | 04-12-2013 05:01 PM | Might head down to a Miami game soon. |
| Sandy D | 04-14-2013 03:14 PM | 2 weeks into the season and they think they are playing football and breaking bones already. |
Trying to coordinate a weekend to visit a buddy in Chicago who is right now in Cali working - he`s a Cubs fan but might check both sides of the town for ball games - figure 3-4 weeks from now |

Not an Angels fan but that lineup when healthy would be amazing.
Who would you pitch to? |

2nd Half starts today. :) |
| Sandy D | 07-19-2013 10:10 PM | The first season I can remember in a long time we have had so many young stars come out in the same year like this.
Lots of new names getting all the glory. |
Hope the Blue Jays can make some moves but...anyhow, good 2nd half ahead |
| vogeltron | 07-21-2013 03:36 AM | My Giants are trying to claw back into the NL West race. D'Backs and Rockies are average. The Dodgers have the talent and the resources to run away with the Division. However as bad as they have been still only being 4.5 back gives them a chance. |
4.5 back is still a huge chance - takes a solid streak which happens for quite a few teams in the 2nd half |

As long as the Yankees dont make the playoffs I am a happy camper all around.
First year I can remember so many fans being excited about baseball like it once was.
We went to many spring training games and the stands were full. Now we git a few Rays games and fans are everywhere. Even those who are not Rays fan filling the stands.
Nice to see this happening.
I think the young stars are bringing back many fans who stop coming out because of the Al Rods-Mark McGwires of the world using roids. |
Tampa Bay Rays are really ripping stuff up in the AL - creamed the Jays this weekend. |

Also, one of the best coaches I have ever watched. He is fantastic and knows the game well.
Up there with Sparky Anderson, Larussa, Herzog, Torre, McKeon, Leland etc. |

When he did songs like this he was one of the best. Coming from a popular band way before my time and going single his voice was just amazing.
Look at some of his songs after he left CCR. Awesome. |
Ran by the Jays game on Sunday to grab a commemorative ball for a friend who wanted it - didnt have time to watch the whole game but yes, Rays rocked them |

I mean I know they won twice in the 90's with some stacked teams. But what was the last year they where even close to making the playoffs? Like being a Pirates fan playoff wise I imagine except they haven't won anything I don't think since the 1970's.
I have sympathy because my Giants were terrible for in SF for 50 years. Got close a few times but ultimately let everyone down. Also being a Warriors fan before this year. 1 playoff team in 25 years when over half the league makes the playoffs. |
@vogeltron, funny thing is I'm not really a fan of the Jays per say...but they're the only team in town for baseball so...yeah have to cheer when friends invite or whatever.
MY team was and always will me the Expos...RIP. Terrible loss for Montreal. | | All times are GMT -5. The time now is 11:57 AM. | |
