They didn't look very good. I mean a win is a win. Take it any way you can get. But being from the Bay following the 49ers. They have definitely taken a step back. Boldin dropping a ton of passes. They keep throwing low % fade routes to Michael Crabtree. Talk about a 2 year old trying to fit the Square Peg through the Circle. Unless Smith, Willis and Bowman come back and carry this team the the 2000 Ravens. I don't see it happening.

i agree vogeltron.

despite the win, the offense really showed nothing to get too excited about. though i did like the play calling in the first half, the second half showed the same old persistent problems. our defense carries us, and unfortunately i don't think it's enough to win the big games if the 49ers are lucky enough to get into the playoffs.

Seriously, feel kinda bad for Palmer. Remember when he got taken out in the Bengals playoff game. Gets to this point with a winning team and to have this happen. Absolutely rough.

How 'bout those cowboys!!!!!! We're gonna break our drought this year!!

So many quarterbacks hurt and missing games or out for the season...the teams might have to start really paying attention to who their back up is more than in the old days...because these days, it pretty uncommon to get thru a season without having to use them at least for a game or two.

When it comes down to crunch time. Romo always blows it. I seriously feel bad for the guy. All he had to do was hold the kick in Seattle and it has been downward every since. I thought for a while its a once or twice thing he will learn from it. When it comes down to it Romo will throw the big interception or find a way to lose the game. If I were a Cowboys fan I would buy the Hoodie on ebay that says "Romo Makes Me Drink".

His stats from September to November are awesome!!!! When you get into December and when the games really matter he is absolutely terrible!!!!!!

LOL.....so far you're right......but you gotta admit, he/they haven't been where they are now in the recent past........If everyone stays healthy, we have a good chance to be in the Bowl......The only team I'm really worried about is Green Bay...

Cowboys will be lucky to make it out of the first round. They have only beat one team with a winning record. I don't see them going anywhere. Philadelphia has the best chance. But they have essentially the same schedule. NFC South sucks except the colts and the NFC South is terrible.

Cardinals losing Palmer really hurts. Top teams in the NFC are Cardinals, Lions, Packers, then everyone else is a toss up. I would still have the 49ers and Seahawks above the Cowboys. Eagles probably above the 49ers at this point. Saints are the best team in a garbage AFC South. Carolina has really pooped their pants this season.

another ugly win by the 49ers… i'll take the W but god the offense is so tough to watch. Chris Borland is playing great though.

I want to kill myself. I knew when it started raining being a Thursday short week road game it was going to be weird. With the records in the AFC and the Chiefs schedule. This game may have cost them the playoffs.

49ers offense is putrid, kap is losing my support. Some of those mistakes you could not blame anyone but him for. The missed reads, the inaccurate passes… sherman was his favorite receiver it seemed like!

there is not a single DC in the league afraid to prepare for Kap and the 49ers offense.

the only thing I can say is bye harbaugh, bye greg roman (hopefully Fangio stays). And maybe, just maybe, Kap can develop and blossom under a new coaching staff. but I might be dreaming.

49ers lose to Raiders!!!!!

Heads are going to roll. I hate to beat a dead horse but I told all the Kapernick band-wagoners he was a gimmick QB. Alex Smith was the chosen one and Harbaugh threw it away and it is going to cost him his Job.

lol kaep is playing horrible football, but alex smith the chosen one? I'm just as frustrated as the next guy but I don't miss the Alex Smith era at all.

Alex Smith is at-least a real QB. Kapernick is a joke. He can't even look off a receiver. Sits on the sidelines with a dumb look on his face and hit hat on sideways. All successful QBs are talking with the OC looking over defensive shots etc. Kapernick is the biggest joke ever for the 49ers.

Everyone tries to say he got the to the NFC Championship game etc. They should have lost vs Packers in Wild Card last year he threw a clear pick 6 that the guy dropped in the 4th Quarter. Then he did the same thing Vs. Carolina. Then obviously the two terrible Int's vs the Seahawks because he can't look off a receiver. Then the ball he threw right to Ed Reed in the Superbowl. And I could go on and on and on. Two Int's right to Sherman a few weeks ago.

The 49ers never won because of Kapernick they won despite him.

AFC Playoff picture is so jumbled for the wild card and what not. Who knows what is going to happen there.

Certainly in the NFC. With a losing record team in the AFC South. There will be a 10+ win team that misses the playoffs.

i agree with you on his sideline bs. He has serious issues reading defenses and has thrown inaccurately. I take a deep breath every time he throws the ball. But I wouldn't call Alex Smith better at all. He had his own set of issues when he was starting, and those were 7 years of mediocre football.

At least with Kaep being relatively young, I at least look forward to seeing if anything will blossom from Kaep under new coaching. Right now, he's working with very stale offensive play calling from a joke of an OC (backed by a very stubborn head coach).

Harbaugh spoils Kaep like a little kid too. I don't like it.
