Well, I have been on the forum for 5 years and my longevity is 62%. I believe it is just a measure of how long you have been around.

I got 81% and I joined in 2008.
I believe it is also relative to the age of the forums.
Only 1 guy will ever have 100% - big boss man who started this all.

Yep! It's how long you have been a registered member relative to the age of the forum.. therefore as the first member of the forums I'm at 100%. | The Following User Says Thank You to aspkin For This Useful Post: | |

He just did:
The age of your account relative to the age of the forum.
That ratio keeps changing every day since your account ages but the forum ages as well. This means that the time to get from 80% longevity to 81% will be shorter than getting from 81% to 82%.
Hope that made sense.

Hope that made sense. | Yes, but I was talking about the "Activity" metric, not longevity. Thanks though.

My bad...
Activity relates to the number of daily posts you make on the forums.
The more you contribute the higher your 'activity' percentage. Max out your 5 posts every single day and youll see that activity percentage go up.
