Default Anyone know of Ecommerce software that handles large volumes well?

Does anyone know of web e-commerce software that handles large volumes of products (100,000+) well?

I know that such software would not be free, or even come cheap. But I'd like to also avoid duplicating Amazon's infrastructure.

This is in the idea stage and may never become a reality, but I have a couple of potential partners who would fund this if it could be done right.

Of course, everything would be 100% legitimate.

Hi I can help you with setting UP Interspire Vendor Edition and also email marketing for very affordable price. This solution will be ready to use immediately. Meaning you just change passwords and start adding products.
Also I can integrate PayPal and Google checkout as well as Authorize.net payment gateway

Please pm me for details

Thanks,

Actually, I went with Chrislands.com for a test. This was for books, which their software is optimized for. And they assure me they can handle hundreds of thousands of products.

Thanks, though, for the advice.
