Default Sandboxed...

So my website was doing really well for the first month on p1 of google, and then I signed up for adwords and suddenly my site dropped WAAY down. I think I ended up in the google sandbox. Any way to make to make my 6-8 month sentence go faster? I heard getting inbound links work a little, but so far nothing has helped in the past month. any thoughts?

Signing up for adwords would have nothing to do with getting sandboxed.

The ONLY success in google google rankings, is backlinks. If you have no backlinks, you will be not be seen. I suggest submitting your site to directories, or getting a paid directory submit from people on digitalpoint forum. It's worth the money.

However your site WILL get sandboxed if you submit your site to too many directories, as google will see your site as spam.

It takes a long time, but work on getting backlinks with anchor text that you want your site to rank high in, and that will lead you to success.

Lots of backlinks with GOOD keywords in the links. The ones you want to rank for.

Like if you want to rank well for eBay Suspension Forum.

Have people link back to your site with that keyword. I haven't do it, but my eternal linking is set that way, so I rank well for that keyword.

If you changed your internal linking... it could of messed up your rankings

Haha I just typed 'eBay Suspension' on google and your website is in first place before ebay's own website!

To rank up my website I paid many people to promote it on their blog or website. The design's also a good way to increase your sales, customer tends to buy more from website who make themselves look like big companies.

Yeah.... that actually did happen. I switched to cscart which does its own urls... hopefully things will turn around? Google seems to have started to index my new urls. It's slow, but it's happening.

Give it some time.. if you're not forwarding old urls to new ones already, you should probably do that as well. That'll save you some PR juice.

Aspkin, I'm very confused about redirecting. I hear good and bad. I have a kind of 404 page that has may template so buyers will still be "on my site". Do I need to redirect old urls that google has indexed for googles sake or for me? I heard that too many redirects would get you penalized by google. If I don't have any dead links within my site but just from google's index, does it matter? Just about all my old urls would have to be rediredirected.

If you have a 404 page setup, don't worry about it so much. If not then it's good to setup redirects. A 301 redirect is best; Goggle likes those much more then any other redirect. You can usually do it all with your .htaccess file.

It's good to have it done, but it's not 100% necessary.
