Stealth account got banned even using brothers name and details and vpn

Hi,

My brother set up an account I could use with his name and bank details. We used a VPN and was using a different computer so flash cookies wouldn't be a problem. Still got banned. I checked my location before setting up the ebay account and it showed me to be in a different location but ebay still knew where I was. How is this? What did we do wrong?? I was just going to lay low for a while and just sell one or two things maybe books or something so as not to bring attention to myself for selling the same item. I still have no idea why my first account was banned. Ebay never told me. Has anyone got any ideas? Its so frustrating and I am wondering if I will ever be able to use ebay again.

Your VPN is quite possibly the reason the acct was suspended.

new accounts almost always get suspended and you need to call in

don't listen to the people telling you that you have a wrong setup , it is a proven fact that suspensions on new accounts are random and it does not matter whether the personal details are genuine , other factors like ip etc. play a limited role

it is mostly about suspending everyone and having them call in after which some will get reinstated and the others shell go "sell elsewhere"

Why do you use a VPN if you're in the UK? Did you list or sell on your first account before it got banned? What item was it?

Do you reside in the same residence with your brother? Are you both on the electoral register at the addresses you were banned?

Do you still share a last name with your brother?

eBay has gotten stricter with admission to their platform, but no suspension is carried out without genuine reason.
