Default I am lost on IP changing

Howdy folks. I really need some step by step help. I am very computer literate, but just finally got DSL about 2 years ago, so I have no clue at all what I am doing with networks. That said, I recently got suspended, was unfair, blah blah. The point is I need to change my IP. I have no idea how to though. Everything I have read and watched explain how to change the 192.168.x.x type address. I see my rang in my DHCP settings, but there's a problem with that.

When I check my IP, it starts with 69 (I obviously don't want to put it in here) and is only a number off from my gateway IP address. Upon further inspection, I noticed that my IP is my WAN IP. How on earth do I change this? I've tried unplugging the modem/router (our's are combined) and that's hasn't worked. Even if it did though, there's nothing saying it won't go back, and mess my new account up completely. Can I set up a Static IP that will change the WAN IP instead of the 192.168.x.x that all the help videos seem to address. Can I call my ISP and beg for a new IP address?

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks a lot!

(edit: It seems the difference is public vs private ip. I need to change the public it seems)

The WAN IP is the only IP address you need to change. You should use a different IP address(es) for each eBay account.

You could try mobile broadband which gives you a new IP each time or you should change your ISP to one that has a dynamic IP address that changes each time you resart/resett your router/modem.

Go to this site www.ipburger.com - that is the ONLY IP address you need to worry about changing.

^ Yeah that is exactly what I mean. A lot of people in stealth use it.

I would go for mobile broadband (dongle etc) or a dynamic ISP (BT broadband, Sky etc).
