Why does it stink? It's the most commonly reported VPN used by people who have advised me of being suspended from both paypal & ebay.

In one instance the use of this VPN resulted in big financial hardship for a seller. I was able to find out that the the VPN was the cause of his issues.

Using home internet and/or dial up doesn't give you anonymity. It keeps you from being linked to another account, but there is no sense of protection.

I think you mean, "what method do you use to change your ip?"

VPS is a great choice especially when you consider the setup and security of it. Dedicated IP, can be signed into multiple accounts at once (using multiple VPS), management of accounts, easily keep all your cookies and cache the list goes on and on.

I'd say all of that for $15 a month for a windows VPS is a steal. Sure beats powering down your modem for 5 mins, or paying for a tethering data plan for your smartphone.
