You can give it a go, but if PayPal link you to your old PayPal a cooling off period isn't going to help
These sorts of things do just generally have a limited self life

Your linking a new PayPal to an eBay that has already linked to PayPal...
PayPal just have to realise its the same eBay that its been linked to and its game over. They just take a while to realise (or at least take a while to do anything about it) sometimes

But it makes it kinda easy, doesnt it? If you got an aged and high-selling-limited ebay account, to which you can add paypal account which will last for 1 to several months, its quite favorable situation, since you can get decent amount of money from that ebay (since it has high selling limits) and after the pp gets limited lets say after a month, you will just add another stealth pp account, and after that one gets limited you will add another one and will just keep adding those pp accounts.

Your not taking into account that each of them needs a bank account if you want to run them correctly and then you will end up with a lot of money trapped in 180 day holds that PayPal don't always release

Money being trapped yes, that's an issue.
But it's the first time I have ever heard that they do not always release the money. Under what circumstances do they and can they not give the money back to a rightful owner?

Quite a few threads about it on the forum
It generally comes down to them just refusing ID
This whole thing can work, but it tends to be a short term solution. Its very very hard to build up a long term PayPal this way.
Most the time you can use it as a stop gap while you build up a new eBay and PayPal

'Its very very hard to build up a long term PayPal this way.' - if there is a possibility to do that, how do I do that?
So I guess the advice here is to just create a new ebay & paypal account and forget that ebay account, right?

When PayPal limit an account, they can request ID. They can then refuse the ID hence getting a PayPal with a refused ID. Its very common
It isn't possible to build up these types of PayPal long term unless you just get lucky and PayPal don't limit you.
Long term in my experiences you can use this as a short term solution while building up a new eBay and new PayPal to take over later on

What do they do with the money then? Just take it for themselves?
thank you for helping me out!

This is just bad stealth all round, if you don't get caught doing this you have gotten lucky.
I have done this lots in the past always got caught in the end.......and then I found this place and made ebay my b*tch, eb*tch Its all about eliminating risks and this is high risk from personal experiences.
Start over you will sleep better not worrying about when they will link you.

When was it? And for how long did your pp accounts usually last?

The last time was around a year ago mate, one lasted a day as I was selling exactly the same things with a brand new paypal and another time I aged the paypal a few months first and that lasted around a month. I had done this many times in the past without learning my lesson.
The reason I did it again was I was selling around £400 a day and paypal got limited I just assumed I can attatch a new one and keep making money, as it was my early attempts at stealth I just chalked it off to experience and the guys have since put me straight about the correct methods. I now have quite a few accounts so the pain from the past feels worth it.

From my experience: if the ebay account and the newly added paypal account are well established, it works. I am doing this for 3 years, but I added a 2 year old paypal to an ebay account with 1k+ sellerfeedbacks. It's still up and running, even tho the paypal isn't in the same name or the same country as the ebay account. My guess would be: age and trust is everything in this game.
