What i do?
a.) I dont run more than 3 on any pc at a time- that way I'm never "out of business"
b.) I keep all of my acct info on index cards/ in a file box- the ones I'm working on -are under "use now"
c.) Even when listing the SAME item on diff accts- the zipcodes are diff/ the pics are diff and the verbage is ALWAYS "out of my head"-no more copy + paste of the descriptions/titles
d.) I keep my shipping diff also- one acct may offer usps-priority for $4.75 for a can of hairspray
While the exact same item- on another acct has it for ups ground $9.95 flat rate
While another acct- does NOT sell overseas at all- and the insurance rates are all different.
** The photos are all diff-diff angles/diff shots--One acct may say the can is 12 ounces, while the other may say close to 12.5 ounces +/-.
**One acct may have the :"Item location" as Beverly Hills, CA--while another may have the same item as "USA", while another as an East Coast State.
** ONe acct may offer to accept POstal Money orders, while one ONLY accepts Paypal, while another maybe ONLY a merchant acct
**One acct may have a subtitle, while the others do not,
**One acct may have just a 1 line sentence for a descript, while the other is a long winded descript--with LOTS of Fluff...
**One acct may have a Strict pay in 24 hrs after auction checkout instruction, while another maybe please pay in 10 days
**One acct may have a 3 day auction, while others maybe 7 or 10 day
** ONe acct may have BOLD+ GIFT+ Gallery PLUS, while the others may or may not even ave a gallery pic (depends on item price/and whether Vero )
***One acct may have the Sellers address in the checkout and another may be completely blank...
**ONe acct may have Buyer Restrictions, while another may let anyone bid..
SO--- by doing all of this-- I can have 3 Sales Teams at once on any one Product.... | What about IP address? Eventually you'll have to log into ebay. |

| ebayhateluv | 12-31-2007 10:04 PM | HI, Dutch- Yea, I know- but after loosing 19 accts over 2- 3 weeks, then another 5 a couple weeks ago- I had been keeping notes on the back of my index cards- how i was listing- duration, etc.--i then looked for similarities in the take downs-what did/did not affect
-- then i Purposely did some actions on other new accts- to again test the waters-- this list is what i have come up with--
FYI- the 3 accts I am testing on are all still up are at approx. 35 fb, 65 fb + 25 fb.. These 3 accts by themselves grossed over $25,000 in december.(and approx. 60 items not paid for yet..) |

| poopdeck | 01-01-2008 10:24 AM | If You Have Comcast Or Other Isp You May Be Able To Purchase More Ip Addresses (comcast Allows Up To 3 But Their Modems Only Support 2) You Will Need To Have Two Routers Off A Hub--each One Will Be Assigned A Different Ip By The Modem's Boot Config (which The Isp Will Need To Change Remotely To Support The Two Ip Addresses) Which You Can Then Have Your Pc's Connected To.
In Case You Get Shutdown:
Get A Router Like Buffalo Where You Can Flash Dd-wrt Software--which Will Give You An Option To Clone Mac Address Which You Can Manually Change--giving You A Sleuth Of Different Ip (after Release/renew).
I Heard That Going With A Totally Different Isp Will Help You Stay On Ebay Longer? And Aol Proxy May Be Just As Good I Don't Know? |
| ivegotinfo | 01-01-2008 04:51 PM | poopdeck, getting diaulup for like 10$ a month seems cheaper, and you have access to more IPs with every call-in number. |

| poopdeck | 01-02-2008 07:30 AM | IT SOUNDS LIKE THE CONCEPT HATELOV AND NECEVIL ARE USING IS REDUNDANCY FOR THE MATHEMATICAL PROBABILITY THAT THEY ARE ALWAYS UP.
NOT ONLY ARE THEY PROTECTING THEIR MAIN BUSINESS BY SPLITTING IT INTO THREE UNITS (PROBABLY USING INDIVIDUAL PC'S) BUT THEY FURTHER PROTECT EACH UNIT WITH THREE SEPARATE EBAY ACCOUNTS. THIS MAXIMIZES THE DEGREE OF CERTAINTY TO CONTINUE TO DO BUSINESS OR IN OTHER WORDS THE CHANCE THAT ONE COMPLETE UNIT WILL FAIL IS 1/3 X 1/3 X 1/3 OR 1/27 (3.7% CHANCE) TO LOSE THE WHOLE SHOOTING MATCH OR THE CHANCE THAT ALL UNITS WILL FAIL AT ONE TIME IS EVEN HIGHER AT 1/9 TO THE POWER OF 9. A VERY LOW NUMBER. THIS IS ONLY POSSIBLE AND WILL HOLD TRUE BECAUSE OF NON LINKING OF ACCOUNTS.
THEY ARE PROBABLY USING MULTIPLE AOL ACCOUNTS WITH CORRESPONDING EBAY / WINDOWS USER ACCOUNTS FOR EACH UNIT. THEY USE ⊗⊗⊗⊗ ADDRESSES AND PROBABLY GIFT CARDS TO REGISTER THE SELLER ACCOUNTS. THEY ARE MOST LIKELY USING A 3RD PARTY EBAY APPROVED MERCHANT OTHER THAN PAYPAL (NEVER DONE THIS) TO RECEIVE PAYMENTS TO PREVENT EBAY/PAYPAL ACCOUNT LINKING. PROBABLY BOGUS PHONE NUMBERS AS WELL.
I'M NOT 100% SURE (AND SOMEONE PLEASE CORRECT ME IF I'M WRONG) BUT I THINK YOUR MERCHANT WOULD HANDLE ANY RETURNS WITH THE ADDRESS YOU HAVE ON FILE WITH THEM. I WOULD GUESS YOU WOULD STILL HAVE TO REMAIN ANONYMOUS EVEN WITH YOUR MERCHANT ACCOUNT??
AND I JUST FOUND OUT THAT BIDPAY IS DISCONTINUING ITS SERVICES.
I WOULD LIKE TO HEAR A REPLY FROM THESE PEOPLE or aspkin ON THE ABOVE THANKS |
| ebayhateluv | 01-02-2008 09:12 AM | HI- Yes, Yes, and YEs...
Very Smart deductions!
The returns are virtually zip. I had 2 diff customers, same zipcodes since August. My returns percent less than 1.
--Have a good.solid product, go out of my way to please the consumer.
---When they are unhappy- i either take it back or send a replacement- along with a prepaid return envelope the same time. Guarantee everything 110%.
--- I use ccnow- which accepts paypal for me, on 80% of my accts. I also use paypal, but only on my older accts, with strong fb.AND- i empty paypal daily.via my atm cards.
-- i am currently building transaction history on other ebay accts while simultaneously building transaction history on 2 other paypal accts (buying only right now)- to gain trust . For future backups...
-- I have a nEw router and dsl modem ready to go in case of suspension on any pc, and i have 2 accts already loaded with auctiva pics/descripts--so at the press of a button- 25 new fresh listings appear...under a new ebay id...
--- i have a typed list of the landline phone numbers-my kids help me call the numbers 2x/month to keep them active...
-- i also use my Palm Treo to open any questionable emails.. |

| MrJosh | 01-17-2008 06:33 PM | multiple accounts Hey everyone, I've been reading bits of info here and it all looks good....i've been registering new ebay/paypal accounts about every 2 months.
My volume is usually what triggers the suspensino
Anyways,
I was thinking about trying to open like 5 ebay accounts and using vendio to list through them
I would create completely different listings for each of the 5 accounts.
If I used AOL to log in to these accounts to give a different IP, used gift cards/bank Accts to verfiy each of the respective ebay/paypal accounts, do you think this would work???
Any thoughts or suggesstions on how to best run 5 accounts simultaneously?? |
| Jonas | 01-17-2008 07:25 PM | How does vendio compare to auctiva? |
| stabilo66 | 01-17-2008 07:46 PM | maybe will work at ebay. but the will catch you from paypal side regarding the gift cards. |
| ebayhateluv | 01-18-2008 12:26 AM | Mr. Josh- Yes, youre on the right track,
- I generally run anywhere from 7-11 accts at once, takes an awful lot of juggling, but i keep notes/ sticky posts on index cards in a file box..
---keep notes to myself on my desk top, as well as commonly used generic memos to customers etc- to answer questions fast.
--- i do alot of copy/pasting..
--- i use ups to ship-- its alittle more in dollars, but once past a certain volume, prices same as fedex ground.
---also you keep an address book in ups- you can do reshipments easy
++ for those astute buyers buying from Suzy 123 + John123 (you)-
you already have their address- just change the return address.
-- I can send a ccnow invoice-copy/paste in less than 60 seconds, with cc always to my email-
--i also copy the ccnow link line= add it to notes under the item in my ebay-
--when i ship--i copy the tracking number to the add note in my ebay--then while in my browser- add to ccnow or paypal tracking..
-- i watch the dates in ccnow- as they pay the 1st + 15th-- get those tracking numbers in by the 29-30th and the 13-14th...
--sometimes send emails to give free upgrades to air to get the funds in before the cutoffs..
---its all organization// + cash flow!!!
Good Luck! |

| ebayhateluv | 01-22-2008 07:17 AM | SHARING.. RUNNING MORE THAN 2 ACCTS--How to HANDLE?? HI- I have received many questions on running multiple accts, so I thought I would share here, just how "I" do it..
-- I was also asked the question, "Can I immediately start listing a Vero item, if I BUY an Ebay acct"?
--HERE"S MY RESPONSE + ONLY MY OPINIONS...
(Keep in mind, NOT ALL of my ways are the ways in Aspkins Guide,, I have to Tailor some things for "ME", as I am not the brightest bulb in the box, when it comes to Tweeking a pc...
Question: Can I immediately list a Vero item on a new acct? And how many? One per day? One per week? And HOw safe is your acct once you list one?
My Answer:
HI- TO be honest, if I knew all this-- I would not be on this forum :))
In all my accts, sometimes they are safe, other times, they take them down..
>> I CAN tell you this much-- (WELL< let me share how I handle 11 accts at once)--
A.) i HAVE 6 ROUTERS + 4 DSL MODEMS
b.) I match up say router #4 with dsl modem #1, = xxxxx ip address
c.) when even 1 acct goes down- i immediately switch up-- say router #5 paired with dsl modem #4
c.) do you see ---so i have many combinations of ip address
d.) I have verizon dsl in one room, with 1 desk top + `1 laptop
e.) i have comcast cable in another room with 3 desk tops
f.) so- now multiply my ip possibilities x2-- (2 providers)-
then i have 5 pcs, so now multiply that x 5...
g.) I also have 3 hard drives for my main desk top (Hp MUlti Media-Pull out easy Drive, Personal Storage), and 4 Compaq EVo WorkStation laptop hd (IBM, Sure Store), for my laptop--
h.) SO_ again- when even 1 goes down-- I swap out everything-- I also keep at least 1 hd ready to swap out- having been completely formatted
i.) I also ---(after more than 2 go down)-- DO NOT EVER access the remaining 9 on my system ever again--I treat them as "infected"... they are now only accessed through either my Palm Treo-on Broadband, or at the Library,
j.) Now, I start up again, with 3-5 accts, listing only 1 item on each, 99 cent auction, a $10-$40 item on each, wait to see if those auctions last through Sunday night?
k.) If yes- then I upload photos=and go to town,,,(NOT Vero though)
l.) I keep my questionable accts -(that i dont mind loosing for any thing close to Vero)
m.) So, Sometimes I can be runnning with 2-3 experimental accts, up to 15 at once...
n.) I keep notes on everything--if I used BOLD, if i changed the ship from to USA, or similar, What i charge for shipping
*** i.e. I note: end in .66 cents, or .88 cents, example,
On acct A-- all shipping rates end in .66, so Priority is $4.66, 2 day air is $15.66, overnight is 29.66
Acct B- end in .88, so $4.88, $14.88, $22.88
You get the idea,,.
--This all takes an enormous amount of time and effort!
--The end Result== CA$H!! in my bank!
My Best Advice-- (If you are buying an acct)-you see you are now INVESTING in YOURSELF, So- Take it easy, buy a couple items on a new acct, use a VERY GENERIC description, maybe try NO PHOTO at first...
(sometimes buyers think theyre getting the steal of the YEAR, when a seller has no photo- in adequate description, etc.. BUT, YOU know what YOU are doing...) |

| twdell | 01-24-2008 01:07 PM | ebayhatelove, you are amazing. do you ever sleep? i'm going crazy right now trying to manage 4 new accounts on 2 computers. i think i need more detailed notes, and i think i will take your awesome adive about the changing up every little thing. so even after you do all of this does ebay still find some of your accounts and close them? |
| ebayhateluv | 01-24-2008 01:22 PM | Ebay Finds the ones "I want them to find"... (cant share that info , though)
:)) |
| twdell | 01-24-2008 01:58 PM | but as long as you are very careful with your "good" accounts then ebay doesn't find them? i am just really nervous they are going to evnetually shut down my 4 new ones. i have done everything as described on this site. so far my first new account has lasted 48 hours with 3 items listed. how long until i can start to feel confident they will not be closed? |
| ebayhateluv | 01-24-2008 05:24 PM | HI- Really depends on the items..
-- FYI-- I have my Very first account created with Aspkins guide last year..
BUT.. I will NOT list Veros on it..
(The ones I create tomorrow morning, then list this weekend Veros-- so what if they take em down, I'll just go get 2-3 more Monday morn!) |

| sherridan | 01-29-2008 05:25 PM | A few questions about registering multiple accounts I have recently enlisted in the '30 accounts in 30 days program'. I plan on creating 30 accounts in 30 days and letting each one sit at least 30 days before listing any items.
I do have a few questions for someone who has registered multiple accounts and successfully sold on them.
1. How long should I wait to register the account as a sellers account? (I am assuming it is not a good idea to register as a seller the same day as initially registering the account.)
2. And if I wait to register as a seller, does this mean I should wait an additional 30 days to list or does the 30 days start from the initial registration? Do you think there should be a waiting period at all as long as 30 days has elapsed since first registering the buyers account? EG- the account is over 30 days old but is not a sellers account. Register today as a seller - could I list today without sending out any red flags?
3. From your experience do you think it matters whether or not you verify via phone or visa card? Is one better than the other? Does verifying via phone look less trustworthy to ebay than a visa verification?
4. And finally, when you register these accounts do you act like you are a new buyer -meaning do you use the search functions to view auctions, perhaps even buy stuff, build some feedback etc? Or do you think it is okay to simply open the account, let it sit (meaning not log back in), and after 30 days register as sellers account and start selling?
I look forward to your responses. |

The 2nd ebay account(500+100%/4 years/silver power seller) got linked and suspended a week later. I got the main one reinstated after sending in documents and with help from my account manager. I would like the second account reinstated as well. The problem is...If I contact ebay to get the second account reinstated would they deny and suspend the main one again for breaking their "no use of other accounts while suspended? | sycore | 02-01-2008 10:44 PM | As long as you can still occationally list VERO, I would not risk a 6000+99.8%/10 years/platinum power seller account.
I would simply open another new account, making sure they can not link. and once it is built up a little, use that toi sell VERO, when the powerseller account take to much heat. | | All times are GMT -5. The time now is 02:44 PM. | |
