On PP, i was originally limited and could not send payments, receive payments, transfer funds, etc. until I confirmed my SS or TIN (even though they took an echeck out of my account for eB fees during this time which they didn't pay). Now I notice that I am able to do everything except receive incoming payments – and all checkmarks except one are green. Send, pay, transfer. So I transferred a significant amount of the funds to my checking account. I have located 2 different notices but only the red (1) shows on the top right. One notice says "Confirm your tax id" while the other says "your tax info needs updating". Neither of these pop up when I log into PP and I basically have to go looking for them. So perhaps they are in the process of sending the 1099-K’s out and about to perform the reset. I confirmed deposit in my account this morning. Cautiously optimistic!!
1/15 Well fast forward to today I received a large payment into my PP account for a sale purchased during the limitation that could not be processed previously. First payment received since way before Xmas. As many have said, the red dot is still on the bell sign in the corner of my PP account however the funds I just received are available for withdrawal. I have also checked my eB account and its back to normal! Yay for me!
Side notes: #1 I have 9 pending sales where people have purchased but not been able to pay – and have decided to wait until we were able to resolve the issue. #2 my eB selling fees usually debit from PP – well at the end of the month PP pulled money from my account to pay for the fees – but never paid the fees – so when the funds became unfrozen I sent that money back to my bank account. #3 My eB fees are due today or the account suspends for nonpayment.
So I owe money to eB and they know that people are trying to pay me more than enough to pay the fees which are never late – however due to the limitation I couldn’t pay how I pay traditionally – and they weren’t going to get paid unless they restored the account so they could get paid. Could it all be connected? I dunno but its highly suspicious that all of a sudden right before collection activity my account becomes good again.
So the rest of you waiting may want to check again – or check closer to when your fees are being posted. Could be coincidence or could be lifting limitations at this time.
