Activity: 0% Longevity: 34% | | After 180 days withdraw problem
I have waited the 180 days and I got the e-mail to withdraw to a bank or debit card and i'm wondering how to withdraw to a card with the name on the account different than my real name? There is $480 to transfer to get into my hands and i'm wondering the easiest way to go about that.
I live in the US.
I used my real debit card but they rejected it.
Thanks for the advice

You'll need to use a bank account instead. I don't think anyone here has been able to get a debit card withdrawal from a stealth account (meaning mismatched names) to go through even when the PP account isn't limited and is still functioning normally.
Mismatching ACH withdrawals historically haven't been a problem - card withdrawals have been problematic since their introduction.

Thanks for the reply/advice
Since my account was closed and i'm no longer able to use PayPal on my stealth account if I deposit to my bank that is linked to my main PayPal account will it also be closed? Will I ever be able to use that bank account again on PayPal if it's used on a closed account used to withdraw after the 180 day wait?
I heard someone saying that it's best to open a savings account and use that info instead of the checking I use on my main unclosed PayPal account. Or will it all be linked together because of the bank account itself?

They won't let you attach the same bank account to two different Paypal's so that's not really an option.
If you have a savings account not currently linked to any Paypal accounts, that would be fine to use. They can't tell when 1 checking account and 1 savings account (attached to 2 different Paypals) belong to the same person.
If you don't have any bank accounts not currently attached to a Paypal account, you could just go to your bank and request a new checking and/or savings account. You could tell the banker you're saving for a large purchase or something like that. Not very hard to get a new account to use.

I opened a savings account and tried to link the savings account by account + routing numbers and all i'm getting is "We're sorry. We're not able to process your request right now. Please try again later."
I don't know what i'm doing wrong. Am I able to add my savings account after the PayPal account was closed?
The savings account I created is under the same name of my other paypal account and my main paypal checkings account that is linked. Is this wrong?

No, you aren't doing anything wrong. It's just difficult to add a bank account to a limited Paypal account after the 180 days has run out. I did it once in the past but I had to call into PP customer service and give my account/routing number to the robot operator. Best way to call in is to go into your account, then into the help section, and request a code to call in with.

Awesome, thanks so much for the replies and help again.
I'm going to do that now, last question before I call though. Will my main PayPal account be closed also if I call in on the same phone number my main is linked to?
Edit* Just tried adding my bank routing + account number with the automated robot system and it also said they had a problem adding my information. It then transfers me to a rep. I'm not too sure if i'm going to have my main PayPal account banned while using my phone number calling from my main PayPal account.
Do I have to have/deposit money in my chase savings account in order for it to be active/opened?
I don't really know what to do in this situation and sorry it's my first time around the rodeo.

The bank account would be able to accept the test deposits as soon as you open it. I think problems have been reported with Chase bank accounts in the past. Calling in from a phone number attached to another account could be causing problems. From a security standpoint it seems like that would be an issue but I'm really not sure. You should use a spoofing service to call in with the correct phone number (whatever phone number is on your account) when you call in attempting to add a new bank account.

Ok, thanks again for the advice!
Does address on the account matter either?
Say I have my real home address on the account same with my main account, will this have conflict and be linked? I only have it on there because I was going to do the check to my house but the name isn't the same unfortunately. I'll have to find a service that can spoof my number to the number on my account, would be interesting to find that.
Maybe i'll make the address on the account my next door neighbors house that has been abandoned for a year now?
None the less thank you so much for the help.

@phaz0rz
Just wanted to update you and everyone in this same situation that I called in on the same number that was on my account and adding the bank worked 100%.
You have no idea how happy I am and now just waiting for the 2 confirms and will be able to withdraw my money. Thank you thank you thank you again for the advice. Will definitely be buying the guide on the website for my future experiences with PayPal and Amazon.

Wait a second, so if you use the original phone number in your paypal to phone in, then it works, but if you used a different phone number, it does not work? Is that what I'm reading? What if your old phone number expired? Does that mean you cannot add your bank account whatsoever?

@glacier922
Exactly what happened for me. Worked when I called from the number on my account with the robot and didn't have to talk to the rep. Didn't work when I called from another number that was not on the account.
I'd think you would just have to talk to a rep and work something out if the number isn't available to you anymore.

**update**
@phaz0rz
A new problem arose that PayPal is giving me haha. When trying to withdraw the money from my PP balance it's telling me "we're sorry we can't process at this time." Same message as before. Then I tried again and it's giving me an error saying "Sorry we can't verify it's you." Now i'm stumped. Might just have to call in again? Or is there a way around this? Any help would be greatly appreciated again! <3

have you withdrawn any money before? If you haven't, wait exactly 72 hours and then withdraw like 5 dollars or something like that, just to get it going. Then start withdrawing in smaller amounts and then increase as time goes by.

Agreed with glacier and rsot.
Wait a few days and then try withdrawing a small amount. I wouldn't go as low as $5 but I would probably keep it under $100 the first time.

^^^
I've had accts limited and asked for docs again if I withdrew too much. If withdrawing 5 dollars and it takes 72 hrs for review this indicates that your acct is in the danger zone, and beyond that, they can ask for docs. Best way, withdraw small, then once those stupid 72 hr messages go away, then u are much safer tho not completely safe. Once those 72 hr messages are gone, id say withdraw 1/7th of your money at a time, so if u had 700 dollars, withdraw 100, that's when your account is safe tho. Like no more 72 hr reviews.
