Word of advice
I feel like everyone here can appreciate this story of mine....
I called about my account having my stealth name on my 1099k as opposed to my business name. I'm anal about these things and like everything to be as good as possible. So I had this lady create a ticket for the tax team to review it and change it to my business name.
My only other stealth had my business name on the 1099k. Well I call today and ask about the ticket done yesterday and the guy takes it upon himself to look at my info even though I didn't ask him too and sees the ein has the last 4 of my ssn.
He said somethings, I said something, and I hung up... boom limitation. The death limitation. SSN required, ID required, and proof of address.
I call back and get the same lady who created the ticket for me day before. Like some miracle and I got her to remove the impossible limitation with simply keeping my composure, and saying you know I just spoke with you about this etc etc. Now my account from their eyes is ssn, photo id verified.
Feel like I just dodged a literal bullet. Have over 4k in the account and cannot lose it at this time. So.... my point to share that story (partly venting because I cannot believe what just happened) and if your 1099k has your stealth name don't even try to mess with it, long as IRS isn't rejecting it, don't worry about it.
