I called in from the number on the Paypal account -> tell the automated voice you want to add a bank account -> it'll ask for the numbers -> boom added.

You'll still need to do the steps to verify it after it is added.

Even with a stealth account? Could you PM me please :)

I am afraid not. You need to withdraw to bank or get a check sent from PayPal to the address registered on PayPal.

It does, just not for previously used bank accounts. I happened to have been stuck in an error loop when trying to add a bank account to that particular account, which is why I tried the call in method. Like I said, it added to the account, but I still needed to either verify the deposits or login to verify- which I did to verify instantly.

Re: Shedding Light: Paypal Money Released After 180 Days

See if your Paypal has an automated way over the telephone to add a bank account, if they do try that.. Some users here have had some success with that. Just make sure that the it is a FRESH NEW bank account.

Does that work for limited account past the 180 day hold mark? In other words, can you add the bank account over the phone to withdrawl funds after the 180 day limitation has been lifted?

US account?

I tried adding over the phone too, the automated message sent me directly towards the operator, even the operator can't add it, it's like wtf?

Then call back.

Ask the staffer their name and politely ask for a supervisor.

For some slack reason, staffers higher than the first people who reply can, and do do the manual addition.

Hope that works.

Good Luck.

I think if you read this thread, you will get more info.

It outlines differences in getting over that release of limited funds.

Read it over. Do ask more questions if you need.

Have read whole thread. Tried everything that I found, appealed, called UK support and nothing moved. They are ignoring my emails and keeping my funds almost 300days from limitation. Any ideas? Is calling to US support can bring me any results?

I finally logged in to the limited account after 180 days, and I was able to add a NEW bank account. I used the NEW bank account which I had added and I withdrew all my money I had on it. There was about $2500 is cash in that account and finally after waiting for so long, it's now in my hands. I will have to wait a couple of days until the money reaches my bank but I don't think there will be a problem, unless paypal pulls one of there nasty moves.

It HAS been confirmed with ME and a couple of forum member that you able to ADD a NEW bank account after 180 days. Now, this has now been confirmed by ME and I am sure that this will work with other forum members as well. I did NOT have to call them in order to ADD a new bank account nor get my money out of my account.

Maybe Paypal CANADA rules are different as compared to other countries such as the USA.

NOTE: Paypal also gives the option to review your account after 90 or 60 days of limitation (not sure if it is 60 or 90 days). You have to TALK to the supervisor in order for them to DO SO. I had the option to get my account reviewed after talking to paypal for more than 25 minutes but I did NOT bother as I did not want to scrutinize my account.

Next time PLEASE do not make the same mistake as I did. DO NOT run more than $800-$900 of volume per month. Do NOT attempt to withdraw more than $500 to your bank account at one attempt. There are many other tips in which you can find on this forum on how to prevent a limitation. If you follow all these steps, you will likely avoid limitation of your paypal account.

Strongly suggest you don't add a bank account linked to another PayPal. If you do not have one, I suggest using a Virtual Bank Account. They're free and easy to setup!

Congratulations for you , it's great that you could withdraw them , nearly one year ago when i was starter in selling on ebay , i wanted to make a stealth paypal account to sell on , but i didn't know a lot about how to really hide my identity from them , i've thought it's only about the ip 😂 , in few days after start selling but i was really fast , my accout has been limited in couple of days , and it wasn't under my exact name , only few letters from my first and last name .

I've uploaded my real documents to them , and of course they've suspended it and putted a hold of 180 day on my money , it was really not worth it but it still $$$ for a starter , later after 180 day they've sent a message to my email saying that i can add a bank account and withdraw them , i've tried to , but no results , and i'm not willing to call them .

the thing that i've learned was , when i want to do stealth , i should do it clean , i've found a good source for documents here on the forum when i was searching , i like their work so much , so when paypal asks for any documents , everything will be ready , it happened later and it worked .

Re: Shedding Light: Paypal Money Released After 180 Days

I'm in the same boat as previous poster. I had previously been able to get funds released from 180 day limited paypal accounts with little or no problems. Now, they're making it almost impossible with this last account I have. They're asking for an insane amount of documents before they'll release the money even after 180 days and asking for them to be sent to an unmonitored email or an unmonitored FAX number (sent correspondence to both multiple times and no response). And they cited paypal terms that say they can hold money indefinitely for "any legal reason" because you know, every real bank indefinitely holds your money for made up legal reasons. That was the response their executive office gave me too, let alone the BS responses from PayPal's regular customer support basically saying uh, I dunno. The system isn't allowing us to release the money so we can't help you. Paypal is becoming a joke.

Sending this will be my next step if PayPal doesn't want to play ball: https://www.paypal.com/us/webapps/mp...notice-dispute

Stealth account or not, it is not lawfully acceptable for a company to hold your money forever.

Hi I am new and I have had a few 180 day Limited PayPals
I have £323.45 to come available 30th of this month
If you add and verify a new bank account please remember that you can never use the account on another PayPal
I have found once they shut it completely down the bank account can be used again!!!
I have found I have one PayPal Limited “No longer welcome” but I didn’t verify the bank account and I have been able to use it no problem on a new PayPal and verify it!!!!
I have used Ebay and PayPal for 12years and had some battles which I have won 70-30%. I found I was giving them too much credit for intelligence and their systems but I never underestimate them and would be stupid to let my thinking be cocky. Ebay were very weak after they split companies with PayPal but they are becoming more and more savvy and the last few months they have got very hard to just open up a new account.
I don’t know if this has ever been told?
On iPad iphone I found deleting the PayPal App and reinstalling it thinks it’s a new device. This also worked on Ebay but I have had problems lately and I have found using a VPN and the search engine DuckDuckGo
I am no tech wizard but think if you stop tracking cookies and clearing your cache of everything it only helps

Tips on how to confirm address on limited Paypal so I can withdraw by check?

Bigj2987 06-09-2019 05:24 PM

Re: Shedding Light: Paypal Money Released After 180 Days

Alright so my accounts were limited for 180 days 3 of the accounts received e-mails saying the funds were available for withdrawal even though they weren't passed 180 days. They would be pass 180 days next month and I have had my funds received early.

So on the first account they said it was an error and the funds aren't available. The second account I was trying to withdraw to a check, but there was no option to withdraw to check. The funds on this account apparently was available. Every time I try to withdraw to check the next screen that appears is bank and credit card. I spoke to account specialist and she seems to think its a security issue. I think I'm going to just wait until the full 180 days are over and try again. Also I always withdraw by check its my preferred method and right now I just can't withdraw by bank account. I'm going to keep this updated in case anyone has a similar problem.

So I was able to withdraw by check after adding a bank account on one of the accounts.
Hope this helps someone. I dont know if would have been able to withdraw by check if I would have waited out the full 180 days but I feel like the option to withdraw wouldn't suddnely appear out of the blue.

Reading through all the posts, I feel like I havnt expereinced this one yet. Despite using a US fully verified pp.

At first I got a 21 day hold and thats it, havent got my money held since then.

But i did loose a few other verified paypals too.

Seems getting small transactions and then gradually scaling up is more efficient.

Re: Shedding Light: Paypal Money Released After 180 Days

I am also having some issues. The 180 days have passed, and the money is available for withdrawal. The problem is that the accounts that were used in the past have been closed, and the system will not allow me to add another bank account online or on the phone with another representative because I can not pass their "security check." That check is getting a text message sent to the number on the account. I cannot get text messages because the number I used was a forwarded 800 number that can accept texts, but cannot accept texts from 3 or 4 digit numbers...which it seems that is what paypal is using. So everytime I try to call in for help they keep giving me the same crap song and dance and letting the system "refresh" which is a load of garbage. I have got 1 american that was pretty helpful but all the Indian robots I get are pathetic. What can be done here?

Something very similar happened on my non-limited account. I changed the active phone number on the account to get around the inability to receive SMS. That's when the "internal security system" started giving me problems adding any sort of bank account to the paypal. Queue about a month worth of trying to add the account and calling paypal here and there. Confirming the deposit amounts was yet another headache - won't get into that rn.
