Only possible link is the name on checking accounts. Throw away phone, different addresses, selling different items. I did sell an item which was to a fraudulent seller and PayPal notified me so I addressed that.
So - wait- when asked for banking info to verify the account, you ALWAYS put in the same name (i.e. your name of the chequing account) which does NOT match the name of the registered pp account holder?

They would only see the name on the bank accounts if you transferred funds from the bank accounts to your p/p accounts or you put the real details on p/p and some point.
If you did not do this then you have missed something else that you either did or did not do that subsequently linked the accounts.
I hate to say it but it is usually human error that ends up linking accounts.
No matter how careful you think you are being it only takes a second and one error and it's done.
