thanks guys for all your nice advices and best wishes! called again, no, non-negotiable, the rep insists social and ein are two different kind of identity proof. ok, somehow also released me, to start anew probably takes same time as try to send in all theses docs

could it be that i was further linked through inkfrog? recently i got an email from a buyer, strange enough he replied an email that inkfrog sent him after auction ending, the registered inkfrog email address is an old email associated with a limited account. anyway going to cancel this inkfrog membership and start a new one. has anybody noticed if use inkfrog's image hosting for multi accounts, the image's url will show your inkfrog username, which is same for multi accounts.

wish everybody good luck and do not repeat my mistake!

When some report an issue while others do not have an issue you need to be alerted to it.

When it was reported some were having linking problems with Inkfrog others said they were not, therefore take all precautions until it is sorted out.

Do not use inkfrog at all until we know for sure.

No sense in risking your other accounts if this is a problem.

Go slow and think before you work on your other accounts to keep them safe.

yes you are right. i'm observing another back up account for 3 days, make sure it is safe then start to sell more on that one. not decided yet if i should shut down the bad shop immediately, since it is still selling and some buyer can pay without paypal.

PP is known to be hard when asking for SSN...they are unlikely to budge on that so your account is in peril.

It really depends. PayPal usually starts bugging you like crazy when their formula has you coming close to or exceeding the 20k limits. Especially early in the year.

Probably time to take a few months off selling if you have the page that pops up asking for tax id before you can go to your main page.

Would suggest starting a spread sheet and keeping track of how much you receive each month. You want to spread it out so it looks you you won't be coming close to the 20k threshold if you can not comply with the Tax ID request.

As Sandy D always points out this is where it is a good idea to run multiple stealth accounts and spread out your sales accordingly.

Also for general purposes I am not giving anyone advice on not reporting income or paying their taxes. I am just giving on advice on how to better maintain a stealth account without interruption due to this law.

Do you normally withdraw $3000 at once... Most of the time "follow the money"...

That seems very high to me for a one shot. I have several Gold accounts and never withdraw more then $500 in one shot.

Would also depend on the strength of the account and payments and such but low amounts is recommended.

Was this a straight out 'give us your SSN request' or was other ID on the list as well. Actual notice might help.

Your reply hinges on the advice you get.

Another point would be to look over your selling plan. Check where you are with the amounts you have sold. You may be about to be flagged on other accounts.

Be aware of this now.

With regards to income and paying taxes, a person should seek out professional tax help not forum posting so much
