| Here We Go Again | 11-03-2008 08:25 PM | I am saying that there are ALREADY more that 1 thread about this topic.
Why are you starting a NEW thread on the same topic.
And if you would rather make NEW threads on OLD topics rather than take a few moments and search for your answers then more power to you.
Have a nice day...... |
| stang1101 | 11-06-2008 06:50 AM | Ebay is getting rediculous for new listers. I listed something on eBay and when the money went to my Paypal they say that there is a 21 day hold on the money! There's no way I can afford to send a $400 item to someone and potentially not even get the money back.
I thought of putting a misspelling in my paypal account address when I list it, so then when people check out it will not work. Then, I can send them a paypal money request for the good instead. Any other ideas to get around this? |

| TGMT² | 11-06-2008 03:30 PM | Well...I have been an acting contributing member of this forum for several months and have bought the stealth book and have spent several hours searching for the elusive loopholes that everyone has talked about...
And I have not found the definitive answers I have sought.
If anybody would like to share...feel free to PM me.
The one loophole i did find, would probably get your PayPal account closed down very fast. And Paypal has probably already fixed it. |
| aking | 11-06-2008 03:34 PM | Yea, the one method i found that worked got my account limited, but i got it reinstated the next day. However, it did work but I will not use that method again.
All you have to do is call paypal and have them release the payment. They'll do it right over the phone. |
| Here We Go Again | 11-06-2008 03:51 PM | The last thread on this topic was closed because it was the same thing over and over and over and over. Members Post - " How do you get around the 21 Day Hold?" My answer - " Do the research. you will find your answer. It is on the internet. I won't post it here." Member post - "But how do you get around the 21 Day Hold?" My answer - " Do the research. you will find your answer. It is on the internet. I won't post it here."
Look folks.....
No one in their right mind would post the answer to that question.
I know for a FACT that there are ways around it.
From never having it imposed on your payments
To having the ability to have any payment being held released in 5 seconds.
You folks can say anything you want to but I am still not going to post it here.
I have only told about 4 people on this forum.
And those are the people who I know and trust.
DO YOUR RESEARCH!!!!!!!! |

Perfect example |
| kolomty | 11-14-2008 02:43 PM | 21 day hold pending question? I have had this is the past and always stopped trading right away as soon as i get the first pending payment. But has anyone ever continued selling if so was every subsequent payment held? Thanks
Never mind i found the trick. |
| JohnnyBoy | 11-14-2008 04:30 PM | I had this happen twice, but I always kept selling. I sold about 5 a day, and they put about 70% of my payments were on hold. Wont do no good to stop listing, because you are more than likely to get the hold when you sell again. |
| aking | 11-14-2008 06:14 PM | Best thing to do is play by the rules and your sales should be ok.
Can we close this thread? I think we have drove this 21 day hold thing into the ground :) |
| Here We Go Again | 11-14-2008 06:32 PM | ^^^^^^^^^
Thank you |
| GreenBean | 11-14-2008 06:37 PM | IF the thread gets closed, then another user will come along, NOT bother to search (?search, wtf is that?) make another NEW thread of the same boring topic. Several choices available and none are nice.
At least keeping the one thread stops the pathetic help me bleats or
does it? |
| Here We Go Again | 11-14-2008 07:13 PM | GreenBean.....
I do see your point & I agree. And everyone else......
I just logged into one of my Paypal accounts.
It had 8 payment on the 21 Day Hold for items that I got paid for last night.
And in about 2 minutes online (AOL Dial Up) I had ALL 8 payments released.
I moved 1/2 of the money involved into my checking account.
I will move the other 1/2 tomorrow.
So these ways STILL WORK.
I have been doing this for months. |
| kolomty | 11-14-2008 09:50 PM | Never mind i found the trick.:D |
| ur2slow | 11-19-2008 01:13 PM | Running into the same problem, 30 Pos feedbacks on new account, thing with this is , the ebay item has be confirmed and delivered today is the 4th day and paypal still holding funds, I wrote them and asked them 3 times already if they can release the funds, nothing, quite ridiculous if you ask meh. |
| philly387 | 11-19-2008 02:35 PM | Try calling them. Works MUCH better. |

| Burst | 11-24-2008 02:51 PM | I dont know what number youre calling, Ive NEVER had any waiting more than 5 minutes. |
| aspkin | 11-24-2008 03:04 PM | I usually don't have to wait longer then 5-10 mins max. I call PayPal all the time. |
| mcweed234 | 11-25-2008 01:36 PM | today is a glorious day, i have finally figured it out |
| Ebay_Victim | 11-27-2008 05:36 AM | im afraid to call pp and ebay. i use vumber, and i'm afraid they'll still trace it back the old number. i dont really have another phone number i can use. |
| GREMLIN | 11-28-2008 06:59 PM | I started a fresh ebay account and paypal have been holding my funds for 21 days unless posative feedback has been recieved. Today which was like my 6th order paypal didnt hold the funds:)
Hope it carries on like this because my average transaction is £293 and it does my nut inn when paypal messes me around knowing that they have made like £10 on the transaction. |

Not even one cell phone someone you remotely know wouldnt let you use? In this day in age you must not talk to ANYONE or live in Zimbabwe. And even they have cell now |

| siashay | 12-01-2008 06:30 PM | I think I just figured it out. At least it worked for me. It was a win win. I got the hold off and the buyer loves me for being sooo honest. |
| ebayuser | 12-02-2008 08:22 AM | Just wanted to put my 2 cents in here.
Paypal still has a hold on $25.00 of a sale I made back in Nov. I printed the shipping label thru them, the item has been delivered, and the customer left good feedback.
So it goes to show that PayPal will still hold onto the funds even after the item has been delivered and feedback has been left.
I have a business account and my account is only 4 months old but other then the $25.00 that they have a hold on they have been letting everything else go thru. |
| aking | 12-04-2008 01:43 PM | Yes, all you have to do is call paypal. Just make sure you put tracking in the paypal system and call once you see its delivered. I called and they released like 5 payments in all of about 10 mins. I call almost everyday. No big deal. |
| ineedmoney1 | 12-14-2008 04:08 PM | make a note in your auctions that buyers should not pay until you send them the paypal invoice via email (a paypal money request) just send a money request to your buyers email address, and wala no 21 day hold BS. Do this from your paypal account. Some buyers may fail to read the details in your auction that says "payment it to be made only after i send and invoice via e-mail" just file a non paying buyer claim on there ass if they fail to cooperate, don't give them any warning that you are going to file or they may leave you negative feedback. |

I refuse to leave my products fate and my finances to a game of russian roulette that is paypal.
Don't send paypal invoices from your eBay account send them directly from your paypal account and make sure the reason is listed as goods and not ebay auction. |
| Ebay_Victim | 12-16-2008 06:08 AM | will it work if auctiva sends invoice? |
| Killed by Ebay | 12-17-2008 05:05 PM | I have figured out a way to have my funds released, But i am worried that if i do it too many times they might notice and just limit my account.
Anyone that is an expert at this mind if i PM them my method and maybe they can answer my question? If so say yes here and i will PM you. |
