Well, because of the clutter that evolves from multiple threads that are alike, the same newbies may be having hard times finding legit answers to their questions. I've seen it happen many times.

But I disagree with some "newbies" who get offended simply because they are directed to look around the forum a little as answers are staring right at them everywhere...And than saying something against this forum and about it's purpose makes me really wonder as who are they really?!

^^^^^^

True Dat!

Which is why I try to give at least a partial answer to get somebody pointed in the right direction, before I tell them to go search. At least give a hint how to make a better search result...

Ooompa, this is hilarious! I agree...let's all turn all into humor and not dwell over it any more. Both sides have spoken and both sides will learn from it.... I hope! At least until next time..lol!

I am glad that Wookster shares my opinion about how boring it is reading posts ripping newbies! If newbies knew what they were doing , they would not be here asking questions! The original question is not actually a bad question , and I do not think it has been answered. I do not think anyone can say for certain what amounts are safe to withdraw per day/week/month/year .. and then how much can you receive! All this talk about how much to withdraw in 1 day seems very silly to me , because daily totals are obviously not the only thing that is important. I think that a lot of things are not discussed , because certain people here think they already know everything!
But heaven forbid if you actually ask them a question !

*ALL NEWBIES CAN FEEL FREE TO PM ME WITH ANY QUESTIONS , EVEN DUMB ONES !*

Just a thought ?

If you already know everything .. why bother to answer stupid questions ?

Why not just ignore it , and let other people respond?

Lyda ..

you misspelled my name twice in a row ! Thank god it is an alias !
I am just not happy that people are chased off the forum.
I really think the forum has more power if we have more of a co-operative theme.
I am sorry if it sounds like socialism ..

I don't like to hear people ragging on new peps, but, I was on this site reading for months before I started to post. The basic answers are all in here somewhere, although sometimes I need an elaboration on a detail to a preexisting question. Plus it's good to know the forum populous, who the goto guys are, and who to avoid get preached at by.

Hi everyone, I'm a nubie and I hate to ask questions hear too. I think its mostly cause the seasoned sellers don't want to give up to much of their tricks cause of the trial and error and much research it takes to get it and keep it all usable. We all know that there are ebay rats all around us trying to brown up to the boss the next morning with stuff they found out hear. You have to read alot and decifer what is being said between the lines of the info thats generated hear.

Ebaykilla and Lyda are correct with their own words and thoughts. As a "newbie" myself, I do my research and continuously look over the forum with effort, but do at times find my self asking a basic questions, but no matter what, and even if a member may feel reluctent or PO'd to answer my question(s)...I have never been shot down or disrespected here on the forum. Now for the answers I do recieve, I may print them off and place them in my binder in accordance to the subject matter. It helps and eliminates REPEAT QUESTIONS!
Stay organized....just like the Forum says.
However for Jesseinkaren, that is not how things are done around here. You DO NOT get ripped for every question asked here on the forum. I have always been given an honest and quick reply even with the most basic of questions. Constructive criticism and answers....it's up to you how you interpret it.
So to give "brownlad" a reply to his/her question I will briefly tell of my experience:

With a legitimate (all truthfull when registering) U.S. Paypal account since 2003, I can say for myself that you transfer up to $9,999 per week. I have done this and have never been 'limited'. As far as your bank goes, then the safe thing to do is call them and ask if they have a Paypal policy of some sort. I can tell you here in the U.S. that anything over $10,000, they will report to the IRS. Uncle Sam WILL get his share after that. Otherwise, for years I have never had a problem. But how that works in the UK, I have no idea.
Now by creating a Stealth account I am learning that I need to make an almost complete withdraw, so I take NO chances on being limited.
And lastly, please read the forum over and over...and if you have a simple/basic question about a topic, then ask. The members on here know their stuff and at the end of the day we ALL recieve the answers and and help we came here for.
Good Day!

when your accounts FRESH you need to keep it under 500 a month - after that first month then you can go a little faster but after about 2k they will start asking for social ect - after that then you are judge on the percent of chargeback/disputes/refunds to total sales - If they think your "HIGH RISK" than they will cut you off completely - even if you ship everything on time!!!!

Suck but in 2009 this is what Paypal / eBay has become - IF YOUR "HIGH RISK" the cut you off . . . and there isn't anything you can do about it besides make a new account and email your old customers and tell them to follow you elsewere

Second & LAST thread to go off topic. Go to Forum Suggestions or send pm to aspkin or myself with complaints. Flaming is not tolerated. Next time be prepared for the consequences

This is a forum, not a blog! Forums are meant for discussion... imagine how many limiting topics there would be if only ever discussed once!
I mean, I am new here and have noticed this too, if a topic was discussed 6mths ago, and is accidentaly raised again.... watch out!

I have searched endlessly around here, and some short answered questions are sometimes not what we are looking for.

FRESH input is what helps ALL of us stay alive!
