How to move virtual machine

To backup EVERYTHING related to your vmware, what do you need to copy from your files?

Each VMWare should be in its own folder, just copy the folder onto whatever drive you want.

problem is theres like 3 directories to a vm lol

Be careful often its get damage while you move or copy and paste

If you're using Windows your VM's are stored in "My Documents" by default. There should be a folder called "virtual machines" which contains the VM files you'd need to copy.

Once you have them copied you open up VMWare, click "File", then click "Scan for Virtual Machines" and choose the directory you stored all your copied VM's in. Once you do that all your VM's will appear in both instances of VMWare.
