So is eBay. Remember when they first started with the ridiculous limits of 100 items per month? Then they dropped to 50, to 25, to 10 and some accounts even 5. Everyone was shocked ...oh no, how can they do this?

PayPal is eBay.

We thought the same thing about eBay when they started introducing ridiculously low selling limits, remember?

Though I agree with you, it was meant more like a joke.

Not according to Paypal official public relations statements they are not the same company. Just call up Paypal and ask them if they are the same company as ebay.

Agree. I done this a couple years back and they will fight you to the end telling you they are two totally separate companies.

Oh yea right.

PayPal feedback would be nice, considering I am on about 12+ venues. Would give confidence with zero hesitation. I am close to 1,000,000 selling/buying feedback on those venues.

If they are not the same then the personal information they share back and forth is illegal as heck.

Sharing bank and personal info across different companies is illegal in most cases.

It's all covered in their T&C's which you agree to when you sigh up.

What you will find out is they use the T&C when it works for them but often go away from their own T&C when they want.

They have no rules or set ways, just toss a dart and make a decision on it.

Whatever these changes are they are always going to greatly favor paypal. They'll just find new ways to frustrate customers. This is what you can get away with when you're a monopoly.

Oh, they'll find a way to do that until you prove you're "trustworthy." It actually makes sense if you think about it. What scammer do you know will be able to sign up with paypal to rip people off if they can only make $10 a day?

That was true when Glass- Steagal was still the law in the US before Bubba Clinton rescinded it and allowed huge financial conglomerates to combine into one-stop banking/insurance/investment companies.

Even then Paypal can skirt around most any financial regulation they choose since technically they are not a bank.
