Withdrawing money from Stealth Paypal
 

Ok, in my situation, a Stealth Paypal account has already been created and is in a different name than mine. I have tried several times to link it to bank accounts in my name but now it won't take it as it once did a year or two ago with other stealth accounts. The account already has a balance on it. I'm just trying to find a way to withdraw it at this point.

Is there anything that can be done? It seems Paypal now wants the name on the bank account to match the name on the Paypal account. Or maybe another reason they aren't allowing this.


Everything is in the US. Paypal, bank, etc.

You need paypal letter dropped to your available attached email address once you're able to move your funds. Otherwise try to hit them via "contact us" section. Meanwhile if your bank is dead thus might be problem adding new one.

After (up to) 180 days, if you have bank attached (or card for some countries wherever this option is available), you can withdraw all at once or spilt up the amounts. In some cases, PP AFS will not allow you to withdraw all at once, but only in small parts. Good luck!

If you don't supply the ID, your paypal won't become permanently limited, they will just limit your account.
In short, to continue using this account or taking out your funds, you have no choice...

It's best to phone the customer service.
In some cases, they might allow you to withdraw the money on an other paypal account. But it's not a standard rule.

Banks for stealth Paypal account
 

Up until several months ago, I was able to successfully link Ally and Chase bank accounts to different stealth US Paypal accounts with mismatched names and had no troubles doing so. Now it seems the names must match (Same name on Paypal account as bank account).

Is anyone aware of any other banks that might still work with mismatched names? Maybe Paypal can't access the name, etc?

As far as I know, nothing changed so far.
May be your account has other restrictions.

You can't withdraw money to debit/credit card from UK PayPal. But Transferwise has UK IBAN, so you could use it for withdrawals (names mismatching is allowed)

I was able to withdraw my funds from a soft limited account to my virtual card fine in revolut. (although i was suprised myself)

Then hours later it got perm limited as i suspected it would.

I need to withdraw 1k on Monday so ill test it and let you guys know.

Which country PayPal it was? And what type of Revolut virtual card - Master or Visa? Could you also provide me with a BIN (first 6 digits)?

Hi i tried it out now and doesnt work, since they changed from visa to mastercard, paypal doesnt support it.

I had to use a savings account.

Adding a real bank account to Paypal is hard so it's better to use a paypal account allowing withdrawal to a credit card.

You will need to have a bank account on file for withdrawal or ask for the check to be sent.

Very tough to discuss steps without knowing all details about why you were permanently limited....regardless, it's very tough and not worth the time in many many cases

Well, I suggest withdraw money to your bank account, which is the easiest and fastest way to get access to your funds. Some cards cannot be added to paypal for security issues, or try contact online customer service to see if they have a solution.

Be very careful as PayPal is stealing money as it has happened twice. My friends had a lot of money confiscated & they will not tell U why.

Some of my friends were stolen 10k+ USD in total by Paypal, due to selling conterfeit or VERO stuff. They managed to get the money back by visiting local Paypal department and threaten they won't leave until they get their money back.
Finally they all got the money back....emmm...

Yes, if your withdrawing than remove all from paypal. The 1st time I withdrew only 10% & they keep the rest.

The 2nd account I withdrew all & it went through & then got an email about limitation.

Remove 100% of the money as they have stolen over 3000 of hardworking people.

Is it possible to add a non-usa card to a USA PayPal account and withdraw funds to card after 180 days of PayPal holding funds.

IT IS anyone which from Israel ， since 2th july then , can not withdraw ?

when click the transfer from then choose currency then click " NEXT " then not show up anything and not move on at all

I have stealth limited pp account more 1 year passed but still can't withdraw my funds, because paypal dont send email about withdraw. When i speak with customer support they tell me wait email 48-72 hr but nothing send.
