AFAIK, Amazon or Ebay prohibit arrangements where buyer gets additional benefit for leaving a positive feedback. The seller offered you a discount in return for a feedback and that may have triggered...

I read about big Chinese sellers create 30-40-50... accounts at any point of time and keep handy. No problem. Hire people just to set them up.. new employees have to hand over their accounts etc.
