so what your saying is if a buyer wants a refund and im happy to let them keep the item, ask them to cancel the transaction and then refund them in pp? This way a defect wont count against me?

no i meant if a case wasnt opened or anything and through messages i told the buyer to keep the item and i would refund payment.
