2 days in customs is nothing to worry about

IMO its not over till the fat lady at customs is singing,on her way home with your shipment of copied fitness dvd`s.

I know i shouldn't give away my products of what they are but they do not have any logos they are the "e pads" MID tablets. Do you guys know if they will have any problems? They sell on e b without violating anything so i would think they are ok to go. I don't mind telling you guys because i don't sell online right now, I am selling locally so it is all cash. I called DHL and they said it is with customs and they will physically open the package. I spoke with my supplier and mentioned that this is still quite normal. My prior shipment went in with ease. What do you guys do when it gets seized? Do you loose on your money, does your supplier loose out? do you guys go half and half? This sucks it is $2,600 shipment i paid for.

Lost shipments are discussed with your supplier. But, e P a d s are fine as that is not branded by anyone here in the USA. I have even seen stores trying to push these things super cheap online as well as many other cheap random Chinese pads.

well uknown, i am still a little worried but you just calmed my nerves down from 100% all the way to 25% haha. Man i Just got so many customers waiting on these. I am making myself look bad because it was supposed to arrive on Tuesday, it is now Friday and i'm just stalling them telling them they will get here soon, they will get here soon. The good thing is they still won't go to competition cause i still have them cheaper lol.

No problem. It happens with laptops, GPS units, other major electronics, etc. Same reason why the airports here in our country are so strict about inspecting any carry on computers and computer related items. Aftermath of 9/11.

Regarding the e P a d s, props to Google for creating an OS that you can literally slap on any device and people will buy it.

i see... i am just a beginner at importing so i need more research lol... I've been selling before but items purchased on clearance, yard sales, etc..when i had a trip to China, i was amazed at how much things are cheap over there. i might be an agent one day living there.

I would think that e p a d s were ok for clearance as i had no problems last shipments and also because no brands, logos and a free a n d r o i d system made it better for me to decide selling these.

I would just like to update everyone. Customs officials at DHL have been holding every

package coming in from China. One supplier told me they have 50 shipments held in

customs since last Friday!

I had a package that arrived in Cincinnati last Saturday. It sat till Tuesday before they cleared it for release. It went from Cincinnati to Salt Lake. I live in Idaho. Then the package got redirected to Erlanger, Kentucky for another customs inspection. It had already cleared once in Cincinnati.

I called DHL and they told me it was recalled by customs for some reason. Then today I got a call from DHL saying my package was released and it would be on my doorstep on Monday by 5. The package did have VERO items in it and this was a 60lb package.

So just hang tight and just because it has sat in customs for a day or two it doesn't mean it is seized right away.

Not to poop on your parade. But ive had them tell me its going to be released and will arrive the next day... and it never did

99% of you are dumbasses. I have had 70 packages, 30 of which are 40lbs or more, and every single one has cleared. Guess how many are counterfiets...ZERO. You all need to get a life.

Pay attention when you speak to them. Of course no delivery company can guarantee a godd*mn thing these days.

i went ahead and placed another order (small one) this time. Should i tell them to send to a different address or same one? Is there really a blacklist customs has?

This isn't the first time I've had this happen to me. And I just checked the tracking number and it departed earlier this evening from KY. It no longer says "Contact DHL". Pretty sure the package will be here tomorrow.
