Why it is in Customs? As far I know Poland is in EU so there should be no customs?

Some one help me as I'm new to this and want to know if Im going to recive it at all..

I'm scared to even order more off my wholesaler or others incase the same happens...

Ive even called up parcel force and said the ukba have it and once it's cleared it's going to come back to them and then sent out but still no reply it anything.. I've waited so long this had never happens before normally maximum it takes a week x

there will be no charges if you have normal goods there. but if anything like cigarettes or so - there will be charges or they get seized.

What about electronics? Maybe you now how long it usually took?

im nor sure, but logically - couple of days would do. if it is not lost and forgotten in some corner. i dont think there is what to worry about

I don't understand what happen but it's taking ages...you guys reccon it's being sized???
I phone parcelforce and they told me that it's with custom and can take up to 2 weeks!!!

Same here! Mine 3 parcels stuck to customs for over a week now, one of which same time on 09.08.12 showing Received and processed. One has moved to AWAITING CUSTOMS CHARGES on 16.08 and stuck again. What is going on? Got like 20 parcels from CN within last month and all gone smoothly. Any updates?

Made a silly mistake an sold items as soon as it landed in uk, doh, looks like this item will be held for at least a week or taken by customs grr

Alessia, have you received your parcel yet? Mine still stuck on Received and prosessed on 09.08.2012. Its for 2 weeks like that now. Any happy endings recently? Got one after 3 weeks with £52 customs duty for items wort £38 :/ Paid that tho to avoid even more delays but just feel like they puting charges like loterry numbers, out of nowhere!

mine is now at national hub, looks like no charges on it will find out tomorrow, pain in the a** having to wait this long, costing me money grrr

Your stuffs getting delayed because your suppliers dont know what there doing and by the sounds of it neither do you.

Did you ever receive your original parcel though Ant?

Hey guys...

Anyone else experiencing delays with EMS / Parcelforce? Had one stuck on "Received and processed" & "In progress" for a week now. Spoke to PF said they have 3 people working in customs. Doesn't sound like a lot for a company that handles 35,000 parcels per day. She said it could take 2 weeks!...

Anyone else experiencing the same??

alot packages in parcelfroce is stuck and seized , I order 15august and yesterday I check tracking number and is handed to customs , delivered . something is wrong with parcelforce..

I also had another one of two parcels sent handed to customs! Seller again is re sending to mess will see what happens! They must be having a crack down on vero goods coming into the UK, will let you know if my next parcel:juggle: gets to me

Sue , how many kg and whats value write on the package ? You order new one for this same name and address ? is safety?

I use DHL now and check this company

She only puts the value at 30usd and states they are soft toys! The parcels lately she is sending in small parcels of 5 hand bags, she says she won't send by dhl for some reason, think i need to find a new supplier when and if i receive the next parcel from her!the parcels have not been too heavy and they are being delivered to friends addresses and names as after the first parcel was siexed i was not sure if my name and address was black listed! Don't know what's happened with parcel force,just think maybe they are cracking down after seeing how much stuff is coming in since the London games!

Id like try make new order for this same address but i change surname and name .

Best not to try - go for fresh - don`t think for a minute that Customs is that stupid

I don't really want to take a chance just in case my address is black listed! My parcel is now at royal mail and out for delivery today so i don't know which courier she sent with!

On the tracking it was saying it was at jubilee mail centre then went to royal mail unread if parcel force!

Does anyone know? It got here alot quicker than usual!

Seems because of a stoopid buyer i may get my selling account shut now so i may be asking for help with how to set up a new account!

Had nothing but hassle with this buying and selling lately!!

so Sue when you parcel seized you dont sent new order for this same address ? because I dont habe option to change address i can change only surname,, and i dont know whats doing now , i dont receive still any letter for customs nothing

I honestly don't know! Don't you have a friend that could take delivery for you?

I haven't had a letter from customs for one that got seized over 3 months ago! My seller re sent mine again but because so many have been seized she had it sent from a firm in London!!

I may contact this firm to see if they will supply me direct to avoid me going through all the stress of parcel force!

I was lucky that i found a good honest supplier off a Chinese site and it helped that she didn't get paid until i confirmed delivery!

Its soul destroying with all these parcels getting seized! Let us know if they get to you

If you stop importing counterfeit goods you'll find all your shipments will get through. ;)

I would call your delivery company for any update. They will know what happened, not some forum.

IF goods are being imported AND duties end up being payable, re-examine your business plan.

Your seller is not doing the correct thing and costing you money if they are under-declaring the true value of the goods. This is the usual reason for seizures by Customs
