UPS / FedEx NIGHTMARES!
I recently discovered this thing called YouTube. It is a WONDERFUL thing, I would go so far as to say it is a NATIONAL TREASURE! I always thought of it as 'who wants to watch some crappy home videos'? but it really is a GREAT thing!
I searched for UPS on YouTube and found a bunch of videos showing deliveries gone wrong. Driver's throwing packages on the ground (so THAT is what they mean by "ground" service ) into trucks and even theft. One in particular showed a FedEx delivery of an Apple iPod. Later in the day, the same house had a UPS delivery. The UPS driver dropped off the UPS package and STOLE the FedEx package not knowing a camera was there.
My point is, this could happen to ANY package that is not hand delivered to the buyer. So, sometimes when buyers claim they received a damaged item, or that they never got it at all, it COULD be the case. This is EXACTLY why sellers should use insurance and/or signature confirmation on expensive items: |
