My supplier says DHL is normal for EU and US parcels, but still have delays for Asia and the rest. If it's true, how come they hold it in Asia?

I have 3 orders 1 of which has been on 'Shipping Information Recieved' since the 29th of September, the other 2 are going to be shipped within the next couple of days, i shall let you know how they get in considering being dispatched after Chinese Holiday.

I think Chinese DHL returned to work today so hopefully parcels start moving!!

Everyday that passes without deliveries is money lost :argue:

Okay update on my orders:

Package 1 posted 26th still on Despatch from sorting center
Package 2 posted 6th (2 weeks later than package 1) arrived in the UK today waiting for customs clearance..
Package 3 not yet posted.. not sure if I should use EMS or try DHL Shenzhen

Sounds like normal if its been shipped by ems. As it does take 4-6 for my small orders i make to get to me from china by ems.

If its dhl.. you have problems.

Both EMS, but it seems weird. A package sent two days ago has arrived in the UK, but a package sent 14 days ago hasn't. My supplier has agreed to resend it, but the first package is the bigger package of the two, so if I get the small one soon that will be okay, but I would rather get the bigger one.

The whole mail system is messed up at the moment. Packages seem to be random. My second package has arrived even faster than DHL does.

Looks like it was an issue with EMS at the same time as DHL as 3 of us on this thread have parcels at the exact same tracking stage stuck for 2 weeks or more.

Seems to back to normal now, but not sure if I will ever get that package.

I will update again when I have anymore updates.

So wonder what is happening with the orders from 15th-28th then. Mine posted 23rd still sitting there.

Yeah, it's very weird.. and annoying. My package will be resent Friday i'm guessing via.. either EMS or DHL. I will let you know how it goes, but mine from the 26th is just sitting doing nothing. I don't understand how packages are going through, but older ones are getting no updates. Did they lose them all or something? I wonder.

I just received an order 7 boxes shipped 9/16 today. so I see this as a new 3 3 week lead time on orders

It would be nice if my resent package came fast and my previous one finally comes around the same time or a week later. That would allow me to catch up and sort myself out, but at the moment if my second package comes it's the smaller of the two. It's better than a kick in the teeth.

At least all this didn't happen at Christmas time (I hope it doesn't happen again).

Have had a package stuck on info received since 24th Sept

Today supplier said here is a new tracking number and shows picked up today and not on hold?

Why would there be a new tracking number?

Im thinking the first tracking number was a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ and theyactually shipped the package today.

Anyone got any advice on this situation??

hopefully this will end before Christmas. I was told don't expect anything to change soon. You just have to get better at predicting what will sell 3 - 4 weeks out. Its not easy.

Parcel 2 has now cleared customs so maybe I will get it tomorrow before the weekend. I hope I do because otherwise I have missed another weekend. Parcel 1 still has not moved at all, though.

UPDATE new tracking number shows delivered to someone in Hong Kong and signed for my address is obviously USA.

Anyone got any advice on this situation or what the hell is going on??
