Default Anyone have any experience with selling lego on ebay/amazon?

Hi guys,
Im currently looking into expanding my product range and looking at lego.

Ive got a few questions. Has anyone ever bought lego from suppliers on sites such as alibaba?

and is anyone allowed to sell the product for example does it pull vero attention alot?

Also which would you recommend selling lego on ebay or amazon?

Also please give me any other advice with selling toys such as lego on ebay and amazon....

thanks for your help!

lol.... oh GreenBean you do make me laugh sometimes

I was looking into lego on eb a few months ago as I sell a massive 1 lego product. There are a lot of sellers selling lego so there will be competition.

Saying that, lego is quite a big seller worldwide and people from all ages love the stuff.

Exactly, is there any VERO issues with Lego?

and GB thanks would you like to buy some lego from my store?

The mark-ups seem pretty decent with Lego though so competition wouldnt be a problem I shouldnt imagine. Just think of the sales around the xmas period! :D

Imakemoney - let me PM you a sheet that I was sent through my current workplace. We were selling a lego 'product' not actually lego itself but was part of the brand and there was just a few restrictions, only a few, just a couple of hundred. Their trademark even states you cannot use the L E GO logo in anyway unless you have written permission. Lets also just say I couldnt send an email promoting this item with the word L E GO in the title.

I will show you how hard VERO would kill your account if you wanted to go down this route!

Let me find the sheet first....

Aye, but what gives them away is the quality of the paint & metal.

If it's for your Lamborghini, it would have to be a Buyer Beware purchase.

If we are talking kids legos and I did not read the entire thread ,in my thrift store yard sale thread I showed people that Legos can be big bucks if you buy the right ones, vintage ones etc.

Some bring hundreds for a single one.

If we are talking about kids lego toys.

And real lego collectors know their stuff, you wont fool any of them b/c they want the early rare pieces anyway.

China imports--- Hey Mom, why is my hand yellow, red and blue? My legos are cool because I can now finger paint with them all over the wall.
