Default PP trouble due to dispute AND chargeback

I am really not lucky with my buyers anymore (seems to all gone downhill since I had that one bad feedback).

Sold an item Wednesday, was paid within hours. Listing said I will send within two working days.
Told the buyer I cannot send Thursday so it'll be Friday (Special delivery) but I did not make the post office in time.
Logging into eBay and PayPal, I saw the buyer had not only done a charge back from his bank but also opened a dispute.
I got a massive negative PP balance now.
Also I had done a Refund that morning to a buyer who had changed his mind about his bought item. So for some reason that refund although it had gone through in the morning was now 'under review'.
I am a bit confused about this (first why do a charge back AND dispute when he didn't even know whether phone was sent or not? Or was that done on purpose hoping it WAS sent?)
And what happens now?! He is not getting his money back twice, is he?? (it was an expensive item) I have not reacted to the claim and dispute yet as I| wanted to know what's what first?!
Does PP not realize it is money for the SAME item??

so you did a refund yourself.,

if you did it yourself and you did it by pressing issue refund on transction then they will realize what it for. so he not get money twice. if you just send money they will not know that of course.

under reveiw, that is not serious just mean maybe large amount. also mean the guy may be done it before as they often put suspiciosus people or transaction under review. it does not mean you are in trouble.

so you have still got item, that is good news if you did not send yet. buyer cretin guy. i agree he thought you might not see dispute before sending and good try for him loser guy look chump now.

Just be patient - while pp is annoying, they will see that you have refunded the sale. Add the buyer to your blocked list and move on. All the best.

What are you selling?
