Starting again:bank account card & paypal questions

Hi all,

Im new to this and have recently bought the Stealth Book. Im in the process of starting up my new account and have been wondering about bank accounts.

I have opened a new bank account for the purpose of generating one new paypal acc and two ebay accs matched to it but really wanted to have a plan b. i didnt think you could use savings accounts for paypal purposes due to them not accepting direct debits which you have to set up when registering your pp account for payments?

Im sure i tried this in the past and it went through but then i got a msg from paypal saying the bank had rejected the direct debit request and i had to set up a new acc before proceeding. Can anyone advise on this? I have a savings acc so it would certainly be great if i could use it!!!

Hi all,

Im working my way through Stealth to start my new accounts.

One of the things i cant find an answer to is with regards to verifying details for paypal with a debit card.

I have a new bank account etc

If I remember rightly you have to put your debit card details in also and surely when you do this, you would have to put in your real address in order for the details to go through.

I mm assuming paypal will then either link it to old acc or at least wonder why the card address is different to the rest of the details entered. Is there a way around ths?

Where did you get the idea of using a debit card?

(Or should I not ask?)

For that extra layer of protection I use entropay to verify paypal. Works easily provided it gets down correctly.

Tell me more about using teh debit card :D

Im using my ipad, sorry if it came accross squashed.

When ive created new pp accounts in the padt i have always put in bank ino and further had to verify with credit or debit card. I dont have a cc so always use debit card.
