Hello all,
I found this website yesterday after getting 4 of my "wannabe-stealth" accounts limited at the same time last night.
I've been doing some research on the forums, and I think I have the basics down, but I would appreciate some knowledgeable advice on my current issues. Here's the situation:
I have my main account, which has my SSN, bank account, phone number, eBay, etc. all linked and verified since 2007. I started selling virtual goods in Diablo 3 about a month or 2 ago, and I came up with what I thought was a clever little plan to prevent chargebacks after I lost my first chargeback dispute due to PayPal not covering sellers in intangible goods sales. I would simply create a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ PayPal account, have them send money to that account, and then transfer the money to my main account! No problem!
Long story short, I now have 3 ghost PayPal accounts with negative funds in them, which were all Limited last night. In addition, the account I was using most recently was also Limited; the difference is that account has money in it (about $100), as well as 6 or 7 recent payments to my main account that are now being Held due to PayPal inquiry. I was able to get this account Restored today by being a little "creative" when they asked me for proof of location. The money in the account is now available, but the payments to my main account from it are still being Held!!!
Before I ask my specific questions, here's the rest of the information I can think of that may be pertinent:
Main Account (Positive Balance):
All Information Real
Account 1 (-$20 Balance):
Real name-ish (shortened version of my full name, same last name)
Different address/phone number/etc.
Account 2 (-$180 Balance):
My sister's name (same last name as me)
My sister's/phone number/etc.
Account 3 (-$100 Balance):
My GF's name
My GF's address/phone number/etc.
Account 4 ($100 Balance, now un-Limited):
Completely falsified information
The common denominator here is that I have accessed ALL of these accounts from the same IP address multiple times, and I have also accepted payments from all of these accounts to my Main Account. In addition, all of the accounts save Account 3 are linked to either one of my CC's or one of my BA's. From what I've heard, PayPal can't access personal info from their members' CC's/BA's, but I figured I'd throw that in there.
So, with all that information laid out, my questions are pretty simple:
1. Is my main account likely to get limited/have funds withdrawn from it to cover the negative balance in the other accounts eventually? (Is it likely that they have all been linked?)
2. If so, is it worth paying off those debts and getting those accounts un-limited (wouldn't be too hard since I have access to the actual people whose names they are in) in order to save my main account?
3. Should I Refund the payments to my main account from Account 4, and then slowly withdraw those funds, or is Refunding the payments too risky? Should I call PayPal about the funds? Dispute?
I realize now the stupidity of all my actions thus far, and I want to proceed cautiously. I'm not accessing any of my accounts for now. Please hit me with your best advice, it is mucho, mucho appreciated!
Some expert opinion would be much appreciated...multiple accounts limited/funds held!
