Cool PP VCC and VBA question on old account

Okay so I've had this stealth account for many years and recently my AVS VCC and VBA got removed when Ebay tried to charge them through my attached PP and they didn't have any funds in them obviously.

My accounts are still active since I paid the Ebay fees quickly and everything has been normal. Now Ebay won't let me sell until I add my PP as an automatic payment method. I tried adding my PP and it's asking to add+verify a CC and possibly it will ask me to add a Bank also later.

#1 So just want to confirm with the experts, do I have to add both a VCC and VBA to my Canadian PP again to attach it to my Ebay? Remember I'm already fully verified

#2 If it allows me to add just the VCC, should I add VBA also as a precaution or there is no need since PP had already verified my previous VBA long ago before the removal

#3 Would adding an AVS VCC which has longer expiry be better or will a regular VCC which has 1 year expiry work just as same?

Thanks in advance!

I know the answers to the above questions when creating a new PP Canadian account but I'm specifically asking regarding my existing fully verified PP Canadian account. Just want to make sure the best route to take, thanks

1. Why cant you use a cc as an automatic payment method with eB since your PP is verified - I have done this without problem.

2. You dont need the VBA...thats more for PP verification - which you have done.

3. Longer expiry is ALWAYS better - you just said eB tried to charge your expired vcc....NEVER let it get to that...you did not monitor your account enough - be clean on your operations

Thanks, I know I made a mistake I was busy in real life issues, just say I still do want to link my PP to my Ebay and pay the fees like that, would a regular VCC be fine or is it recommended to add an AVS VCC even though my PP is fully verified already?

Thanks

A regular vcc will work but I always use AVS cads for paypal verifications.

Even after knowing all the risks of linking my PP to my EB account, should I be fine by just adding a regular VCC to my PP since PP is requiring a secondary payment method to be attached to my PP, or should I still add an AVS VCC??? I am fully verified on PP as stated before so add a regular VCC now or an AVS VCC?

Thanks

Preferable to add an AVS VCC - lot more secure to the PP system than regular VCC....their system has a lot of flags on cards and can see what type of card is being used.
