Paypal Limited for receiving more than 2500Euros

hi guys,

i have today received the message below on my first stealth Paypal account. the account has been limited as it has reached the 2500euro limit. i can not withdraw or transfer any money in the account but i can continue to receive payments.

i have submitted photo id and a utility bill as requested to lift the limits.

How long does this usually take for paypal to review this?

Your account access has been limited for the following reason(s):

3 Sep 2015: You have received €2,500 or more in total payments to your PayPal account in this calendar year. PayPal is required by law to comply with European Union Anti-Money Laundering regulations by collecting information from customers when they receive more than €2,500 in total payments within a calendar year. Until you provide us with the information we need your account will be limited. You won't be able to send or withdraw any money using PayPal, however, you may still be able to receive payments. Please go to the Resolution Centre for more information on what you need to do. When PayPal limits an account, your funds may be held until we've confirmed your identification as per the User Agreement.


How can I get my account access restored?
It's usually quite straightforward to take care of these things. Most of the time, we just need some more information about your account or latest transactions.

We'll review the information you provide and email you if we need more details, or when your account is back to normal.

Chase them, reply to the email you received. Give it a follow up. Call em. You may be lucky to get it reviewed within 2 to 5 days. I have chased them on several occasions like that and it works.

Avoid all of the advice above. Call them up and see what happens when you get the wrong rep.

My latest account verified within 1 week. so better to wait.

Just wait before calling.

Sometimes 1 day, sometimes I have 2 weeks to wait.

Best only to call as last resort.

It will take around 3 days.

I had the same issue, called them up and they reviewed my docs while i was on the phone and lifted my limits.

Depends on the rep. Mostly they won't review it over the phone, so you should wait.

Been said many times previously the nearer you are to the limit the quicker these reviews are completed, usually, as long as the docs submitted pass the scrutiny.
