I was dabbling in these meme stonks earlier this year but I kind of lost interest with other things going on - I am not sure about the SDC move

At the end of the day, isn't all stocks pump and dump? Unless you buy berkshire hathaway stocks or something, then you're just falling asleep everyday seeing this move like .01 percent every day.

Not really.. some companies actually improve and start to make more money. Others make no improvements and just hype their stock so it goes up. It's easy to do in the age of "viral" everything.

Take gamestop for example.. record high stock prices during one of the worst quarters in their existence, all because reddit said buying those stonks would "stick it to the hedgies". Give me a break. The hedge funds probably orchestrated it all and cashed out on the top.
