Default PayPal causes big troubles with my funds

So PayPal froze my account with $2,800 in it. I already shipped the merchandise with tracking numbers. I want to refund my buyers, explain to them why and show them the stuffs on the way, and have the send me the refunded payment a different way. Some will probably be honest enough to do this. Maybe I can get half my money back.

So my question is what alternative money transfer system can I use?

Scratches head. Why do this? Get in touch with the buyers to give FB as soon as they get the items, then the funds will be released. If you hve tracking numbers, make sure they get added as well, then paypal should be happy.

They froze the account, pending investigation and verification of identity, SSN, etc.. I cant transfer money out regardless of the fact that my buyers positive feedback.

Oh, and they froze it for circumventing ebay. I used BIN with best offer, when customers contacted me for an offer I just send a PayPal invoice for goods. This eliminated eBay fees and the 21 day hold, also tripled my sales. Next time I'll send an invoice through a Merc account, or AlertPay so they cant seize my funds.

Geez! Even if you tried to withdraw that much that quick you would have almost guaranteed been limited. You should spread out your sales over a few accounts. Would you mind sharing what you're selling! :D Just kidding!

Steve, you threw me off with saying frozen. In other words, the account is limited, you can not remove the limitations so want to move on AND not use paypal?

When your account is limited you can still give refunds. My customers are repeat buyers, I may be able to give them refunds and have them repay a discounted amount through AlertPay.

I sent this to all my buyers, my goal is to get half my money out of this.
Unfortunately PayPal is withholding the payment for going around ebay
to avoid their rising fees. I would like to refund your payment and
have you pay through my AlertPay account. I'm willing to offer you a
Discount for your inconvenience. Plus, I'm relying on your honesty as
I have already shipped and this is the only way I can get the payment
out of PayPal. This offer is being sent to all my buyers and refunds
will be given on a first come, first serve basis. Please reply ASAP.
Thank you for working through this with me.

It feels weird to be racing to contact buyers and give refunds. OK, so I have 6 buyers who are willing to play ball, if they cooperate, that's a third of my losses recovered.

This is interesting I was wondering if anybody else is paying via PayPal and not ebay to avoid the 21 day hold?

I didn't try to avoid the 21 day hold and have over $4,000 that paypal is now holding for 180 days because I can't provide a SS number. I still have an 100% 90 feedback ebay account. I still have people who need to pay me. Any thoughts by ANYONE? Yes, I should have spread out more, but the minute the 21 day hold came off due to feedback reaching 50 positive they limited the account and get to play with it for 180 days. I'm resigned to having to wait. All the tracking numbers are input. Yet, how do I get paid for the others and should I can this account or list on it with another payment method. My stealth account is not with real information. A merchant account would have my real information. They don't share with ebay but how do you get around providing the merchant statement.

Paypal is IMPOSSIBLE.
