An Amazon Sellers Nightmare

I filed a police report a few days ago and made an appointment with an attorney for tomorrow. I'm hesitant to file a defamation suit or restraining order because if I do that she'll know my real identity. While she's listed my home address out there for the whole world to see, she doesn't have my real name. She thinks she knows my name and she put what she thought was my name on this site but she got it wrong. I'm letting her think she's right but the downside to that is the person she thinks I am has a criminal record and I don't. This person doesn't even live in my state. If I bring suit against her it will reveal my true name and (with my real name and address) she could quite possibly find other personal information about me and put it out on that site. I know this all probably sounds confusing so here is a link to the site I'm talking about:

Just be advised that there is a lot of her vulgarity and profanity on it. She's gloating about me not being able to sell anything because she thinks I'm still suspended when in reality my account is in vacation mode so that she can't cause any more damage. The report was created by an Ebay seller that she tried to screw over before she found me on Amazon. All of my entries are the ones with "UPDATE" in the comment section.

I was reading the sites and watching the YouTube videos on Charles Fitch that you referred me to and something stood out. In one of the videos the moderator says that Charles hides behind many websites he owns hosted by Cloudflare. That's the same company who is hosting "badbuyerlist.org" - the website that the Amazon seller is attacking me on. From what I've been reading Cloudflare is a shady organization and does nothing to stop Fitch from saying whatever he wants on his sites. I did reach out to the administrator of the buyer review site to ask them to remove all of the slanderous content but I now understand why I can't get anyone to take any action. If Cloudflare has anything to do with that site then maybe they don't care. I sure hope this lady doesn't take her vendetta with me to the lengths that Charles has taken his with the people he's bullying.

The thing is this daft cow might escalate, the more you do to her...
Maybe stick to police report for now, and try and get her thrown off the various commerce sites as a buyer/seller at least, get any negs taken off.....she can re-register of course.

Not sure if she has genuinely lost the plot or is just vindictive.....not sure which is worst...

If you cannot do it all with police report, then suppose legal action is all you are left with.

The threats to your person and property are probably just threats hopefully....she is not local is she?

I often see at the bottom of google, a legal notice about stuff that has been removed from being cached on the search engine, so you mentioned your address was posted online - so you contact the website it is on first, if no luck move on to the search engine providers, all I know is you can apply to google to do this, probably need at least a police report, so research that....it only comes off your own Country site though, not international........

I agree she should not know your name if possible, she can do more damage with it....

The police will not do anything for you. If she scammed you out of some vhs tapes I would just turn the page and move on. Assuming they were inexpensive to purchase.
I have experience with civil matters like this and even with a judgement in your favor. There is no way to collect reparations. It is easy to go down this rabbit hole be careful , time is money and this process will rob you of this as well.
If people already have criminal records and did not bother paying to have them expunged, then she does not care. And I would assume also dose not care about her credit. You have no leverage.

Maybe a silly question: unlike on eBay, on Amazon a buyer account and seller account are not explicitly displayed under the same ID. If I know a buyer's ID, how can I visit his/her seller page? In other words, how do you "link" them to conclude that both belong the same person?

I've pretty much decided to stick with the police report. While they may not be able to do anything for me at least I have it documented on record of the two dates that this crazy woman and her husband have the planned attacks on my house. I am going to follow up with Amazon today (I have contacts in their Seller Escalations department who are handling my case against this lady) to see if they will remove her from the site permanently. This lady is not local. I am in Texas and she is in Illinois however she posted early this morning the following:

"..I'VE GOT ULTIMATE NEWS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!! I'M MOVING DOWN TO TEXAS TO HELP MY BOYFRIEND IN HIS STORE IN DALLAS!!! I'M MOVING PERMANETLY! I WILL BE THERE BEFORE A MONTH IS UP!! YOU'RE IN FOR SOME DELIGHTS NOW THAT I'M MOVING THERE!! WHAT A SURPRISE CHANGE! I BET I'LL REALLY GET TO KNOW YOU! THIS ALL IS THANKS TO YOU BECAUSE OF LAST WEEKS VISIT!! I'M SOOO GRATEFUL!! I'M MOVING!! TEXAS, HERE I COME!! ALSO MANY MORE MEN WILL COME IN TEXAS!...

I have no idea what she means by "..THIS ALL IS THANKS TO YOU BECAUSE OF LAST WEEKS VISIT!!". Her husband/ex-husband (not sure which he is) is upset with me because he thinks I put his phone number on that site when the page in question wasn't even created by me. It was created by an Ebay seller that she tried to scam. I'm not even sure if her husband did any posting on the site or if it was her pretending to be him (she pretends to be so many people - vice cop, retired military, etc.). There is no jewelry store in Dallas who knows who she or her husband is. I've called all of the stores with a name even remotely close to the one she claims and nobody has heard of either of them. The name that she has on me that she "outed" on that site is not me but as long as she thinks it is then I'll let her run with it.

In the beginning I wasn't even concerned about the stuff she ordered. I was willing to work with her 100% even though I knew I was being scammed. I didn't stand my ground until the email threats and bogus feedback were reported and my account was suspended. No way was I going to give in at that point. All I really wanted to do was make it difficult for her to run this scam on the next person. I think so much attention has been drawn to this at Amazon that at least she won't be able to do it there again. Unfortunately, I'm left with the fallout and I now have to deal with this wacko.

I already knew about the prostitution conviction. When my account got suspended I went on a search to try and figure out exactly who this buyer is. I already had her address (although it was a PO Box) and knew what state she lived in.

Ironically about this time I also had my eye on a seller who kept popping up on a lot of my listings for about 6-8 months. I had no idea at the time that this seller would be linked to all of this mess. The seller was in Illinois. I did a Google search on her name as well as the name of her Amazon store. The prostitution arrest and the reports filed on the bad buyer list site came up with an address also in Illinois. I started wondering if the buyer I sold to and the seller I was keeping an eye on were one in the same. As it turned out they were. I now knew that this lady was my competitor and was watching my store and business website to see what I was selling.

I looked on her Amazon storefront and a lot of the same things I was selling..she was selling. So her goal was to get me removed from Amazon by filing bogus claims and feedback and in the process she would try to get some of my stuff for free as a buyer. I don't think she thought I would ever put two and two together and figure out who she was and what she was doing. I think there were sellers before me on both Ebay and Amazon (more than who have reported her) who probably gave into her bullying tactics to save their accounts and I didn't do that. I fought back. I think that is what set her off.

P.S. I saw the comment that you put on that site. She's going to think it was me and she's going have a lot to say about it so check back this evening. I'm sure you'll get an eyeful.

I agree with you. I decided that it's better to just walk away and not comment further. I think it upsets her more knowing that I'm not engaging in this verbal warfare. That forum has given her a voice to rant and spew filth and target me and I'm not going down to that level. I continue to check it just to make sure that more personal information about me isn't put out there.

I just read the Amazon Ghost manual and whoever said setting up a new Amazon account is easy has an IQ much higher than mine. I worked in IT for about 5 years doing hardware/software installation and support and this manual made my head spin. I may have to read it several times before it all makes sense. If I have a laptop that is brand new, straight out of the box, and unused...could I use that to create a new account since that unit wouldn't have any "history" attached to it? If so, what steps can I skip in the Ghost setup?

I think a new laptop and also new or changed ip address would be fine for amazon.
Plus all new other info.

I do not see why you should have to re-register a seller account, a stealth is always going to be second-best in terms of verifications eg. ID etc than your original a real account. Ironically though a stealth would be more anon and a case like this is a good example of being anon to a nutter...but still, being banned by amazon is one thing, but having to start again because of a village idiot is another.....

I think it is all idle threats though........she gets a sense of power from it all

I had a conversation with a rep at Amazon's Seller Escalation Department and they have read the entire conversation from the link I provided as well as looked at her buyer history with me when this whole ordeal started. She tells me it will only be a matter of time before this buyer/seller is banned indefinitely and she gave me the steps to take to ensure that my account remains intact if this woman were to try to compromise it. I'm glad I finally found someone who will be on my side. I have felt very isolated lately.

I'm glad to hear your progressing mallory . You seem like a good person. But this is a ruthless game we have chosen to play. I'll leave you with a quote from godfather " don't hate your enemy, it clouds your judgement". This other lady may habe done you a favor in the long run as now you can be prepared for the next P.O.S

WHOA...you mean there could be another POS coming down the pike? I can't imagine another person as wacko as this. I've been on Amazon over ten years and have never had a problem. I've read the Seller Forums and saw the horrific stories that others sellers had with bullies and I always thanked my lucky stars I never had to experience it. Then right out of the gate I get the worst of the worst. :-(

P.S. If this lady discovers the forums here I have no doubt she'll start attacking me here, too.

Doxxing means that they go through extensive means to find out who you are and what you have done in your life time.

My advice, and I'm totally serious here:

Whatever you do, NEVER meet or interact with this woman in person. If she ever shows up at your home, or sees you in public in some manner, IMMEDIATELY pull out your mobile phone and document everything and move to a public place.

The last thing you want is to become another "#METOO" story with a false accusation, and with the current climate and this womans deranged mental state, it's highly likely she would try to pull something like that.
