Default Ebay recgonizing your computer?

I run two ebay accounts. The first one is my main one that I have always used, the second one being a stealth account that I built using the methods I learned here.
I've had issues with Ebay in the past suspending my main account for a few weeks or month, so I built the stealth account to fall back on during those times. Therefore, I try to keep it somewhat active and list a few things on there from time to time.
I was recently purchased a new laptop. I set up two different user accounts, the main one for myself and the main ebay account and a second account for just using the stealth account. I use firefox and log onto the stealth account from another IP address.
When I logged into Ebay on my main account they would not let me perform any activity until I verified my computer because they "didn't recognize it." I had to have them call me in order to verify everything.
I've never had this issue before and I've logged on to my main ebay account from a few different computers. Is there a new way that they are recgonizing the computer they are using? Will they be able to see that the two accounts are linked together somehow since they are on the same computer (even though they are on different user accounts)?

Thanks for the help

For some reason it seems like your cookies were deleted? That is why they wouldn't recognize your computer.

Would help if you also said what system you are running & what ISP/IP used.
philly is correct about cookies: I just like to have that extra info for a fuller analysis

When you re-started accessing your different accounts through your different user accounts you had to get your NEW cookies/flash objects established for each account on each user account.

Once your get your cookies established on your new computer for each user account you will be fine.
eBay places cookies/flash object into EACH user account.
When you access your eBay account and there are NO cookies/flash objects in the user account eBay will call you to confirm your identity.
Once your identity is established a new cookie/flash object is placed on your computer user account.
So as long as your keep your cookies/flash objects separated by using different user accounts you should be fine.
So the next time you access your eBay account you should not have to go through the phone call game.

As long as you continue to run multiple user accounts for each eBay/Paypal account all will be OK after the initial ID confirmation phone call and cookies/flash objects placement.

Make sure you erase the cookies a few times. Some of these so called cleaners do not do the job fully, also if you clear it the browser way there is a delay in it. So if you close out of it to fast it will save some cookies.
