Default Can ING Direct Saving account to be used in paypal

I read over the eBay Stealth and opened an ING Direct saving account. But the ebook says the name should be the same in paypal and saving account. I am confused as they say paypal cannot see your name on the account right? Does that mean I can withdraw money to the saving account but can't add money to paypal? Thanks for your help.

Paypal cannot see the name on your bank account. However the bank can see the name when depositing money from your paypal account. Most banks don't care about the name, but there are some that do, ING is one of them. The name needs to be a very close variation to use ING.

Nah, I think it's just an overall abuse with online banks and that's why ING is more strict with money coming in.

It's from ING's end as Lakeman describes.

I was trying to test the ING saving account but paypal does not let me add that account. It asked for bankstatement and driverlicence to use ING account. What happened? I don't remember I used that account before and it's clean .

EBay/PayPal has large deposits in to the 100's of millions at ING and several others like Capital one or HSBC. eBay's Q-10 is good source of info for the banks to avoid.
This financial leverage give's PP ability to insist on restricting/blocking Stealth accounts as identified by them to be suspicious, the best course of action is to take funds out of the bank ASAP and move to smaller banks where PP has less influence.

I really love things that work with paypal, but shouldnt we keep things like this off the forums, since paypal employees can easily see this and make it worse for all people that do good on Ebay.

The fact that this forum exists...

Most of the restrictions paypal puts in to place is to prevent loss. If people are customers, not committing fraud, they're not as cautious. These are fraud prevention practices. ING and paypal are independant. We can manipulate paypal, but not ING. I don't think paypal is calling ING and saying "please make it harder for people to give you their money". It's probably more like ING not wanting to lose money from people who actually commit fraud.
