Default Tell me if this a solid or a bad strategy?

I'm selling headphones (high risk) but most of my customers are happy with the items. I'm currently using my roomies ebay account to do this, but he wants me to get my own.

So heres the plan:

1. Setup new ebay account
2. sell 3 pairs of headphones a day
3. have all the sales go to his paypal account (which is bank verified, business type, and solid for the last year)

Is this a safe ammount to push daily 5 days a week? Or do you think I will get the accounts linked/banned?

I wouldn't use HIS or anyone else's PayPal. Especially if it's linked to 2 ebay accounts. Just create a new PayPal.

Can't really comment on the headphone business - though I have an idea of what you are selling.

Only way is to try - I have no idea of the sales on the headphones. You might have your paypal account go into limitation at one point for invoices and such - I expect it but all the best.

Sidenote: I just noticed you want to use his paypal for your ebay account? That will be bad news - unless you open another ebay account with all of his SAME details - that's possible but trying to link 1 paypal with 2 diff eBay accounts will fail...and cause him problems too.

Do as he wishes. You are better off in the long run being your own person. Cut all ties to his stuff... and you will be happier in the long run. If and when you have trouble you will drag him down too.

Your items are high risk. Dont drag a buddy into that....

Bad. Reconsider. Be independent of another person

I def want to be independent, but I tried this with my own paypal and got limited with $800 in there. I guess the only reason I wanted to go this route was because it seems his paypal is allot more solid. If I setup a brand new paypal and just start selling $150 a day... kinda sketch right?

This is exactly why you dont want to mess up your buddies stuff.

Dont try and convince yourself it will somehow work out ok. The end result will be disastrous. You will, 100% for sure, run into trouble down the road. You already did. You ruin a friends PayPal and then what? There is not, and never will be, a bulletproof PayPal account....

Setup some new stuff, start over and off you go. Do your best to keep it up. Do a few, follow the stealth guide. But most importantly, do it yourself.

they said it was an executive decision to "perm ban" the account. At this point I guess im just trying to see how many I can get away with selling at a time.

If you are selling those dre headphones your about the same risk as me and my p90x. Whether you sell 1 a day a week or 3 a day for 5 days... once you hit a certain number of auctions or dollar amount... paypal will want supplier info. Simple as that.

those dr dre headphones are sooo easy to spot a ⊗⊗⊗⊗. There's videos all over youtube how to spot a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ and many different web pages

I think a lot of people on ebay know what they are buying though, I bought just 3 off some guy on tradetang who had high ratings for the item and opened one up, they sound good. Out of the 3 I sold(I sold one pair as used) I got 2 complaints, one complaint was that there was no eartips and he knew they were ⊗⊗⊗⊗ and demanded half his money back which I have to stay away from a problem, another guy knew they were ⊗⊗⊗⊗ but didn't want to send them back for a refund. lol. and the 3rd guy who bought them as used was happy.

after that though I decided not to re-order too stressful

nothing is more stressful then tennis racquets.. im actaully back on headphones to lessen the headach. I have sold like 30 pairs on my old account and got 2 complaints in all.. and these were the soft box no serial versions. This next batch im buying is the hard box and has serials.

I wonder what exact dollar amount that is tho? They sell like such hotcakes it almost seems worth it to keep it goin.. and if its really to much stress, then what is a profitable easy to obtain product that ebay doesnt seem to care about? I guess thats the same question all the noobs are asking.. heh

You came to asked for other people opinion and tried to proof your way is safe. If you think your way is good direction why ask?

Since you already got limited with paypal and now using your friend information, they will soon going down soon.

This is a good forum with good members and good advise, it would be a shame for someone to come on and ask a question and not take the advise offered, i only see regret 3-6 months down the line

i personally would not drag my Friends into that side of things, i see it wrote on here that using a Friends details if possible is the way to go.

i disagree with that statement to some degree for reasons stated in this thread and others, it is too easy to create other accounts- just make sure you withdraw Evey day, twice if need be , i never go to bed leaving money in paypal, id rather sleep at night lol .

His paypal is solid for a reason - and that is why he wants you to get your own. Sooner or later, the problem of limitation comes - as you had now stated, you have experience this before.

The rough part about that headphone model is that you will always get hit with limitation sooner or later. Set up a new stealth in info that is relatively easy to prove and work on dealing with the limitation.

Disclaimer: I don't condone the sale of this ha.

Products like headphones can be hit and miss with vero as well if they're branded.

Good man, You will sleep better at night for it, Also seen as though you seem to be in the mood for taking advice here is a little more .

Do not slow it down, you have just found you answer to speed it up.

Multiple accounts - so like I say sell less on each account but have more than one accounts .
