Default Listing Blocked: no payment method on file

I cannot continue to list/edit my items because I don't have a payment method on file with them. So now I am getting this message: "Please place a reimbursement payment method on file

We show that you don't have a reimbursement payment method (credit card, or PayPal account) on file with us. Sellers must have a reimbursement payment method on file to pay for claims under eBay's Buyer Protection Policy. We'll need you to provide this information today to continue listing your items on eBay.

eBay's Buyer Protection Policy generally covers buyers for most purchases on eBay. If eBay has refunded the buyer for claims covered under the eBay Buyer Protection Policy, we'll charge the amount due to eBay using the automatic method you select. The eBay Buyer Protection Policy is subject to change and we'll charge you in accordance with the Policy as it existed on the date of the transaction at issue. eBay may charge the payment method you select on a one-time, sporadic, or recurring basis. You can always change your selected payment method in My eBay or cancel your automatic payment method by contacting us. Learn more about what eBay's Buyer Protection Policy means for sellers.

It's quick and easy to do. Click here to open a new window and select your reimbursement payment method. Once you're done, you'll be able to review and submit your listing."

So basically, I have two options, link my paypal or use a credit card. So, people here have been saying do not ever link my stealth paypal to my stealth ebay, so that leaves me one option, which is credit card. Credit card contains my real address which has been banned already, so what do I do now??

You need a new credit card - gift card, VCC, search around the forum - you have a lot of options.

Do you meet the same roadblocks for this requirement as when opening the account? If so, a lot of cards won't work.

I found this thread through search because yesterday ALL my stealth accounts (sub-accounts included) were all blocked!!! I spent hours fixing each one. I find it very weird and unsettling that none of you had this happen?! I got the same message as above. I use Auctiva and went to look monday at Sundays listings and only 2 or 3 listings each got through on 4 accounts! I went to check the rest and all blocked. Do I still have a keylogger in my new PC? All my ebay fee's are payed by Paypal and WERE all linked already!

What do you mean cookies. Those four accounts are still up. I checked all emails this morning and no suspensions on the others.

I think it's Auctiva somehow. They are the only ones that can get into my accounts without passwords. Because they handle checkout? Some new accounts I formed can't function with the G chrome browser only the others. I have had many odd things happen over the past months but no loss of cash but I lost out this week. I'm just sitting and watching for now.

All the accounts would not list. I put them on automatic Sunday. When I tryed to list they wouldn't. I got the same message as above (threadstarter). So I went in every account the normal way and proceeded to list closed unsold items and then I got that page. I did the authorization to let ebay get there fee's from Paypal. But they were already linked for a year already!

But not the fee's that we always give them, This page asked for the new Ebay protection thing they got going on. Not listing fee's. They wanted to get the money from paypal when Ebay decides that the buyer should get ther money back (not when Paypal decides the normal way)

anything that ebay and paypal owns is not good and thats why i refrained from getting a skype number and putting it on ebay and paypal because they could probably called skype since they are all owned by ebay and paypal. is auctiva owned by ebay or paypal?

auctiva is not owned by ebay/paypal.

It was just purchased by a Chinese company.

To those asking, jamblix is 1000% correct.

a stealth paypal can be attached to a stealth ebay.

What is recommend is to not pay ebay fees via paypal & ebay.

That is maybe where there is confusion.

ebay is not going to allow any listings unless there is some way for ebay to have protection, ie some payment method.

If this is not understood, please feel free to pm me
