Default Listing limits: suggestions to improve them needed

Can anyone please help me! I tried to list on eBay but all of the sudden I got this message saying that my DSR is too low and I won't be allowed to list on eBay. Does it mean that my account is as good as being suspended or is there a way for me to gain some feedback in order to improve my DSR. Please help!

Thank you!

If your DSR scores are too low then that means you can not sell on the account anymore. You can use it as a buyer but not as a seller. You can not get DSR scores higher from buying stuff. You will need to wait until the scores drop off from the account which can take up to a year. You need to get another account going.

Thank you so much. What will happen if I open another account under the same name and attach it to my paypal?

As long your current ebay isn't suspended you should be able to do that, try it out.

Thank you cardfelon and thank you jbuntz's!

Cardfelon you said that scores will drop, which can take up to a year. I am not sure how DSR works. Could you please explain to me in simple terms. Will my DSR get better after the end of this year? I only have about 9 feedbacks and 2 of them unfortunately were negative. So basically I have 7 positive feedbacks.

What he means by DSR "scores will drop" is that at a certain point they disappear. In other words DSR's age. It's like a rolling average, so it doesn't quite work the same way as feedback which is more permanent.

Go to your seller dashboard: check what info is there and it should give the date when the bad info will drop away.

If you make another account, make everything the same except for the email address.
Go slowly and carefully

You should be able to click on policy compliance and it will show you your violations and when they expire.
