Question Threatend by a Seller, must open new acct

The Story:

I bought an wholesale lot of video games from a seller on eBay. The whole experience was terrible. I did not get what i ordered, shipping was delayed 2 1/2 weeks, seller agreed to one thing and did not follow through. Extreme lack of communication.

When i was top-rated, when ever i bought from a seller on eBay, i never had to leave a negative feedback. If i had a problem, i told the seller, we reached an agreement, both parties happy. Hell sometimes i would just leave positive during issues. This guy was so hung up on his high horse.

Now here are the results:

After i left the negative, here is the seller:

"CHANGE IT OR YOU WILL REGRET IT TRUST ME".

"Agree to the feedback change and I will send the request, otherwise your you might get a taste of your own medicine. Every person is allowed 5 ebay profiles and that = 5 negative feedbacks ( wink ) you have ten transactions, you will have a 50% rating and that will surely get you suspended, just in case you were curious about how much negative feedbacks affect a sellers profile. Let me know how you want to proceed and thank you so much for you purchase. One more thing, you can't block profiles you don not know about, ask yourself if you really want your ebay selling experience to be over before it starts Now lets be adults- make the change, unless YOU want to buy some more of MY items and leave more negative feedbacks, if you can afford my listing lol"

This guy has also left very nasty voice mails. You have no idea how bad. I have never in my life said the things this guy has said to other eBay users.

So now i must move on to another account.

Guys and gals, do you think i could use the same information to open another account? It is stealth and the account is in good standing. Maybe i could use this account as a strictly buying and use the same personal information to open another selling? Its hard for me to get all the ducks in a row for creating stealth and i would like to be able to use the same information.

You shouldn't have used a selling account to buy in the first place to avoid things like this.
So yes, let it rest and finish up all your auctions and move to your back ups.

in the mean time, do not change the neg and forward that email to ebay. See how he likes it.

If eBay received that complaint, I cannot imagine they would let him keep the account.

Ladies, I have the sneaking suspicion that the seller in this case is AVAILABLE!

Rats! What a nasty person.

Couple of GOLDEN rules:

Be uber careful about buying on ebay and never use your 'good' account.

Should you run into a problem again (& this applies to anyone) come post on the forum. There's a collective here that can give info to help get rid of the problem
Most important, take a deep breath, and move forwards.

Report him to eBay IMMEDIATELY. Threatening to leave negative feedbacks purposely, especially across multiple alias accounts is a bannable offense. It has happened to me before, and after emailing eBay about it, they suspended all of the accounts of the scumbag.

Rather than just running away from your problem, face it instead and bite him back with his own words.

Wow definitely don't change it people like that really annoy me. Should of said "ok cool I guess you'll force me to have to resort back to my other 20 selling accounts ^_^"

But yeah just keep reporting him teach him a lesson and learn from this experience never use a selling account to buy like SaiJin said.

That guy must be extremely unintelligent... could easily give that to the cops and get him arrested.
