Cool how to NOT have to send docs to ebay

i hate when ebay asks me to send docs on stealth accounts,im planning too try to get around this by making an account like this:
1. It will be 30 days old!
2. It will be VCC and VBA Verified on paypal.
3. It will have a prepaid phone in-case i have to give them a call.
Once it is 30 days old i will make it a seller account by selling an item valued less than 9.98.
If i do this you think they will still ask for docs and be suspicious?
I am going to try it and see how it goes!

As far as I can see - and this is only my opinion - the request for docs depends on two things.

If you register as an individual you need to be on public records at the address given

If you register as a business it depends on your past - registration - website etc.,

Docs can be avoided but you do need to put some effort in.

Let us know. Key is to keep your crap cheap in the beginning and many people don't. Just beef up the feedback and sell as much as you can, as well as second chance offers. So you got the right idea.

No - I disagree with you unknown5454 - keeping you crap cheap means you get cheap results. It's all about background and research. There are some members here who have got it and do it but some object to paying for what they want. I've even seen posters objecting to paying £2.40 for a landline number - what's that about for god sake?

Be professional and you will get professional results

I have not been asked for docs on the sites I have built

I meant in the beginning to get the account solid/safe. You misunderstood me :(

@techbayelectronics, your chances are good from my own experience. It's when you start trying to unload your main $ makers, that's when it's time to hesitate and be ready.

I would also recommend buying some things. How many people NEW to ebay go right to selling?

I am testing waters creating accounts with different approaches myself so my advice is on limited (no pun intended) experience. However it just makes more sense to me that id be a buyer first.

i agree with you on this, but its such a bother buying on a stealth - i just make it look as if im interested in buying but havent found anything I want, afterall, they are not the be all and end all for shoppers. I know plenty of ppl who refuse to buy anything from eb - they hate the site.

ebay doesn't like ebooks too much.. and if you buy too many of them you could get suspended for that

as far as the 30 day thing goes.. thast what i do.. i bid on a few things like 50 dollars on an ipad just bid on random things that you know you have no chance of winning during those 30 days.. after that start SLOW listing... remember you're a new member look through the customer service link ...
i mean it wont prevent you from still being asked for docs, but im sure it helps

I normally buy a bunch of .99 cent website links from webmasters, it establishes your buying and use of ebay. I think ebay looks at dollar amount groups such as items for 99 cents, items for 9.99, items you buy at 99.99, if you can establish your buying within those dollar amount groups and get 30 feed backs or more you may be good to go.

Is it ok to buy digital goods (recipes, coupons, etc.) for under 10 cents?

I bought about 20 of those already
