Default Zagg Screen Protector for iPhone 4 = high risk?

On one of my stealth accounts which I've created:
I have 8-10 feedback for buying, just created seller account, the eBay is 1 month old.
I've listed a Zagg full body protector for iPhone 4 ($24.99) on the zagg site, for $0.01 starting price auction and some $3-4 shipping fee.
Nothing else
After the listing around 30-45 minutes passed, eBay closed the auction, and banned my account
Called them, the girl told me the limitation is permanent, I cannot sell on ebay and then she hung up the phone (I couldn't even ask why)

I'm 100% sure I'm not linked in any way, so that wouldn't be the case.
The stealth data I was using belongs to a real person, who never had a paypal/ebay account, so that couldn't be the case either. PayPal is verified by the way.
They didn't even ask for scans which I could have provided to them

So I guess Zagg is considered high risk on eBay? Or the word iPhone 4 triggered their alarm? But this was a damn screen protector, not the phone itself

I'm starting to hate them even more... Got 2 accounts limited the last 48 hrs and I'm still building history with the others, but it's so sloooooooooowwwww

I have no idea but I would call again and ask. If the first lady you talked to was a bitch and hung up on you, doesn't mean they all would be. Just call and act confused but friendly and eager to get the situation resolved. It couldn't hurt to do this just for investigating... the account is blocked anyway so you have nothing to lose.

Are you sure you are following all stealth procedures correctly? If they suspends you within 1 hour of listing your first item, it usually means something you did raised a flag or two towards their suspicions.

brand new items raise flags when they are the first item you list. i tried to list screen guards as my first item and was nuked within 15 minutes. whether you have been buying for 3 days or 3 years, you are a new seller, act like one. everything i start off with is used. i seem to be able to list anything right away as long as the condition is used. read the 5000 other threads on this, hit a thrift store up for some cheap items, sell them for next to nothing, then list the big stuff.

Not nessesarily true. I list new items on new accounts all the time, and have very little issues with it. Other factor matters like the price and quantity of your listing, as well as various account related factor like account age as well.

I think a lot of it probably has to do with the products being listed. I think iPhone screen protectors are probably the type of item that a lot of people would cheaply import from places like Hong Kong and China and want to quickly mass-sell them on eBay. I feel like eBay might only want more established sellers to sell items like this (the exact reason I'm not sure). I definitely agree with "if you're a new seller, act like one".

You can not list items at 0.01 as a new seller. I wouldn't do it even after my 8th month. Almost close to the original price would be much better.

also if u used iphone any where in the listing and that got u flgged for sure. It dosent matter what u sell it could be shirt that advertize's iphone and it will be flagged just as if u was selling a iphone.

Once u got flagged the emplolyess went through ur account and found something they didnt like and boom banned you.

its kinda like when u get pulled over by a cop for something silly like no seat belt then they look at everything from insurance to running your tags cause they alrdy got u so they will try to find anything they can to give u a ticket on and if they cant find anything u will leave with a seatbelt ticket
